As per the racing incident statement of trainer and jockey ,this horse should have been tried in a 7 furlong race and jockeys suggestion was to use tongue strap for the next run but both have not been obliged even he hasnot justified his statements by running it in 8 furlong mile race without tongue straps  

Racing incident last run if Jon snow

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala and Jockey S Zervan were questioned as to the running and riding of dk b c JON SNOW, in the above Race. The Trainer stated as follows; a) Ideally he wanted to run it in a seven furlong race, but as the mile race came up, he chose to run it here; b) He had told the rider to just jump and be with the pace in whichever position he is comfortable with, to save it a little bit because we were running from six furlong to the mile; c) It was run in a similar manner in the six furlong race as well, it came from behind but it is one paced; d) In this race he was trying to gallop as fast as he could but was not going anywhere; The Jockey, while corroborating the statements of the Trainer added that the horse does not like to sit up with the pace and that if he is ridden in that manner, it will not last out. In this Race, after giving it a chance, it showed whatever it had in him and it just fizzled out. He also said that this horse is still a maiden and he was running in open company, in this set, for the first time and that this horse is still not mature enough to take on such company. The Jockey also added that he has informed the Trainer to use Tongue Strap on this horse for its next run. Their explanations were noted for future reference.
