In Poone it was a three horses fight and it was touch and go for all the three. Knotty Ash was in the middle and it is difficult for the jockey to view either side. Since the horse was entered in Poone Derby the trainer should have taken the horse earlier and given a run. I think in Bangalore the trainer wanted a run before the classics.

I did not take glance  at Knotty Ash when the odds touched 4/1  bcz of Anthony Raj.

If it were to be Akshay things would  be different  

If Akshay was unaunavaila Srinath shd have been riding. All thugs  and brain dead.

Dear friends I don't think jockey made any mistake. He rode ACCORDING to the instructions given by the connections. Even in last 100 mtrs that horse dragged him to finish close to the winner. He didn't used his hands and heels or whip.

I agree with u sir, it would have won easily with a worthwhile rider. The trainer doesn't have sense to judge the caliber of his horse. It won't win any classic in future. 

Very true Aravind! Anthony Raj spoilt the race for all the punters who backed Knotty Ash! This is the difference between an apparentice jockey and a full time jockey!
