Racing Career Highlights: He broke his maiden by an impressive win over 8.5F at Cork, Ireland for trainer Dermot Weld. Next up, 9L winner of the Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes Gr.3

over 10F. This win saw his rating jump to 116. 

The Irish Derby Gr.1 had to be missed by Speaking Of Which, due to the extremely testing ground caused 

by the infamous Irish weather. 

He ran a respectable 

length and a quarter third in the KPMG Enterprise Stakes Gr.3 at Leopardstown, running after a long 

gap of over three months.

The firm turf in America beckoned. Speaking Of Which ran a half length second on his debut run in the 

U.S.A at Santa Anita in the Twilight Derby Gr.2. over 9 furlongs. There was no shame in this narrow 

defeat, as the winner Grandeur went on to run a close second in the Hollywood Derby Gr.1 and a close 

third in the Man O’ War Stakes Gr.1
