King Khalil...a Classic Prospect

By Rahul71 | 26-Nov-2018

Yesterday at Mumbai King Khalil in his first run clocked a better timing than Class 2 race of Costa Brava and also the much hyped Excellent.  If his dubious trainers can keep him in good condition I am sure much will be heard of him. Might even win a few classics.

@rahul, Though I had backed the horse, the way it won suggests couple of more wins are in store.hopefully it maintains its form and fitness and does well in future,to say it belongs to classics will be a very early call.

If it can win with Yash in the saddle, couple of wins is guaranteed provided it is entered in the right set.

If timing is so important factor in handicapping then why most of the classic potentials or otherwise horses do not win after clocking good timings... coz the same performance of the horse or consistency of performance is difficult to maintain, as owners, trainers have their vested interests.

What's it with people? A horse wins one race and he is touted as a world--beater? C'mon, chill guy, let's see how the horse performs on promotion.

The fate of a horse is sealed the day it finds a particular stable. Some trainers simply don't want to win classic/ terms races. Some others go to classic scean after exhausting the handicap route.Every horse needs a Pesi or Paddu to nurture him.
