As most of the member pointed out. There are 4 genuine contenders. This are my observations:
ARABIA :
She is full sister to AMELIA and MYRTLEWOOD. And to mention MYRTLEWOOD has won Indian fillies 3yr and Indian fillies 4yr back to back.
Won a class 4 race 1200M with dud timing of 1:11:16 but considering the verdict Leigh Roche easied up.
BUT SHE NEED MORE EXPERIENCE, INDIAN FILLIES COME TO QUICKLY FOR HER, AS SHE HAS TO TOPPLE ALREADY PROVEN AND MATURE FILLES.
ISN'T SHE LOVELY :
4 Wins out of 6. And pedigree EXCELLENT ART - IN THE SPOTLIGHT. Speaks about her.
She has been beaten in June Bangalore fillies by PUNJABI GIRL. But the timing of PUNJABI GIRL was dud 1:41:78, interestingly she won in month July, class 2 race, by better timing 1:39:55, she did beat PUNJABI GIRL comfortably in mysore fillies and also to most of fillies running in filles 1000G at other centres like, SAKURA 3rd in hyde fillies, WATCHMYSCRIPT (favoured by most of the member right over here) and MEA CULPA, participating in Chennai filles.
She won class 1 race, she lost a race as favourite to PELUCHE, but should remind you, there was enquiry on running and riding of ISN'T SHE LOVELY, as it was deputised by Mr. Rakesh instead of Mr. S. Padmanaban.
SHE IS FIT ENOUGH, BUT RUNNING AT MUMBAI TRACK FOR FIRST TIME, CAN IT HOLD THE LONG STRAIGHT IS THE QUESTION.
LA EONDINE:
This filley is a half sibling to the classic, DEGO REIVERA, ONASSIS, and SERGENT AT ARMS.
She won the class 4 race, both ARABIA and LA RONDINE, won at same day, at 1200M, in the hands of leigh Roche, but LA RONDINE timing was better. She has good, urging in straight.
AGAIN A GOOD YOUNGSTER, BUT LACK EXPERIENCE.
MERLOT:
TINTINUBALATION, is full brother. Distance is not a problem, but she is failing miserable over a mile, the first run/win was shocking chacing all the all runner in straight from long back, is well produced. Ironically second was quiet opposite and ended third to TRULY EPIC upset against, INTENSE STYLIST. But on a note there was a enquiry initiated in running and riding of MERLOT. Her second in a hyd fillies is good, items she was slightly drifted in 150M, but suddenly urged like star, and failed by 1/2L.
SHE IS THE ONE WHO IS GOING TO GIVE STIFF FIGHT TO BEST FILLY.
My choice:
I hope travelling gone well and will be at busy end for sure, I cannot resist, MERLOT. As she has excellent turn of foot, if she handled well, it will definitely give hard time to ISN'T SHE LOVELY.
