RIP prakesh, you were a splendid rider. As an apprentice Jockey I remember him riding 30/1 Party whip against top Jocks like AK and Pesi, and Party whip was the eventual winner and my first rank outside in the silks of Vijay Shirke, I missed him as a Jocky when he stopped riding now we will miss his presence too. hats off to an astute personality.

The news of untimely death of B.Prakash has shock the fans followers of this honest jockey.From Lucknow to the nearest iv betting center at New Delhi,we along with,a dozen punters travel just to back prakash  and always make good money.May his soul rest in peace,

B Prakash rode on Starsky to win Mumbai Derby @ 20 : 1 -  what a spectacular ride that was... and so was he ..shocked & sad .... RIP B PRAKASH... & condolences to the berieved family....

Even at very Cramped odds, I have seen people backing him with confidence.

Present Day professional need to understand and atleast follow footsteps of ethics and Learn from his loyalty. 2000 classic winner, yet fate catched up on him.

It is really shocking news. To die at such a young age and that due to a heart attack is trully tragic.

 B Prakash was part of the goledn era of gold n borwn. I have seen people paying thousands without an iota of doubt on 40p and 50p horses ridden by B Prakash. Such was the faith of public in him and the goldn brown camp. Like all things, it came to an end.

 After  M. Jagdish, Vasnt  Shinde, Aslam Kader, Karl Umrigar , Pessi Shroff -  only  B. Prakash  was  the  honest  jockey,  who  never  let  down  his  admirers,  including  punters...

Unfortunately ,  he was  never  patronised  by big  owners and  was  given  mediocre TB's   as  a  trainer...

One Who has been associated with horse racing in last two decades can never forget the great memories this very talented rider has given. Everytime he passed the front runner in the home stretch there used to be a roar in public "chal pakya" and most of the times their cheer used to be acknowledged by winning the race. May this champion RIP. He will remembered forever in Indian horse racing. 

This is a shocker. Prakash was so young and still had a lot to give to horse racing. R.I.P.

This is really heart breaking news. I still remember in those days B Prakash and C Rajendra used to compete with each other. While BP had godfather in MAM, CR was riding for everyone. Another jockey in that period was M Naredu, who used to ride for KND/VBS.

This is not the age to die thats what pains more. RIP.

Champion Jockey B Prakash died of Heart attack in the early morning.  May his soul rest in peace.  His association with the great Mam Ramaswamy will always be remembered.  I have many fond memories of playing his horses.

talented and trusted jockey untill few years back. He was appreciated by one

and all in racing fraternity allover India. Not able to digest this sade news.

It is because of B Prakash I have developed the habit .Because when I started, it was the Golden period of the gold and brown. Classic wins and graded races were just for the taking when Prakash was astride. The filly Haunting memories was my favourite in those days. Ruben star was a great horse. Flashing star,Mystical, Secret memories and many more. 

Forest flair on whom Prakash rode multiple wins is still standing.

What a tragedy that B Prakash passed away at such a young age. After such a successful career as a jockey, he deserved to enjoy a good life with his loved ones. There were rumours that all was not well in his personal life, and that may have been the cause of his untimely and tragic death. May God grant strength and peace of mind to his family to bear this terrible loss.

Jockey turned trainer B.Prakash  passed away this morning due to heart attack. He was my favourite after B.Jagadish , Vasant Shinde and Umrigar. Due to his several injuries which was set right by treatment here or abroad by the late MAM he was riding for him for several years. His finish lacked punch in his later rides, the most prominent was on Sweeping Success in the Indian Derby when losing by a short head to Hot Stepper .
