3 Rd Jan Mumbai Races Canceled

Official announcement has been made that 3rd January Mumbai races have been canceled due to administrative reasons.  Wonder if this has anything to do with the Bookies arrest.

Looks like Western India's racing is going through some serious problems.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. If the TOI is to be believed, RWITC has also been booked for abetting money laundering and will be forced to crack down on the bookies' activities else, they shall bring further trouble on themselves. Don't be surprised if the bookies are not seen for the entire winter season.

They have no alternative but to cancel loss to the club by no bookies is 20-25 lacs a day. Week day racing no one comes so further loss. Now only weekend racing with no bookies.
