I am sorry Ask...but I have been to various race courses around the world...unless the track is different or some problem with the clock...horses such as Ruffina (Champion horse) cannot clock lesser than another horse (first run - 3 year old..etc) UNLESS the same is also a champion in the making...

Timing has little relevance in racing.one who crosses finish line first is winner.If early pace is very fast timing will be faster.If unstreched horse can win in slow time but when needed same horse can cut vastly improved time and win.

come on guys atleast senior punters  should know this,some races are run on the back strech of rwitc so the timings will be diferent.

Yes You are right Auriga. The timings recorded by RWITC Mumbai yesterday are bogus, which will be evident from the following timings registered.

Race I .. KENNEDY .. Class B 2000 mtrs  .. 2.05.34

Race II ..LORD OF THE SEA .. Class 80 and above .. 2000 mtrs .. 2.05.46

Race IV .. BUSHTOPS.. Class 3 .. 2000 mtrs ..  2.01.64 

Race V .. 3 yr old maidens .. Hunt for Gold .. 1400 mtrs ..  1.23.52

Race VI  RUFFINA .. 1400 mtrs .. 1.24.30

In some cases the clock runs even after the horses cross winning post and stops 25 mtrs later.

These timings, therefore, cannot be trusted for picking future winners .RWITC can atleast improve on such small malfunctions.

follow class  becouse this  horses are running as per filed means they are following front runner its all depend on how much horses are running and front runner. If you still believe on timing than just watch after bend or last 200m timing how they are coming from behind you will get your own asnwer....
