Hyderabad Derby Stakes(grade1)-contenders

By Venkat | 26-Jan-2019

Though Indian Pharaoh(Excellent Art-Running Flame talls in this set with the highest rating and with Jockey David Allan in the saddle, I do not think he will win. Just 12 days ago, he ran the South India Derby where he was convincingly beaten by Psychic Force-- was ridden very hard. According to me, he looked to be i9n distress even before heads turned for hom at Chennai.

I fancy Big Brave((2) Western Aristocrat-Daily Edition). According to me, he will get the distance and can win.

Golden Hind(Kingda Ka-Golden Bright). Was finishing on strongly at the business end though in a class iv race. I am not sure that the Sire has produced any winners over even a mile and a quarter. But I like his style of running.

Thus my picks--

1. Big Brave;

2. Indian Pharaoh;

3. Golden Hind.

May the best thoroughbred win!

In the Hyderabad Derby today, I strongly feel that Golden Hind is very well place to lift the blue riband from Indian Pharaoh.   Mystic Flame may follow rhem

Friends, weather is fine,   Derby day should go on.

Last night's rain should not effect races.

Best of luck to all.

Three derbies Chennai,Pune, Bangalore won by mostly second grade horses only.they cannot describe as Classic horses. Last few years Indian breeding producing Classic horses has come down alarmingly.tomorriw Hydrabad if we c Derby card not a single horse worth taking this top stake money.but unfortunately we do not have any classic animals.tonorrow it's anybody races even 25-1 shot horse also cud win.

According to Major Sir's article, BRADFIELDS COLLEGE  has the low dosage index. Also he is bred incestiously (step son and step daughter). Performance wise he is not warming up fully  in mile races. He is begging for more distance.

Now over 2400 he got a winning chance in this very ordinay field.

LVR, the champion trainer may be getting his First derby.

Advance Congras Vittal  Deshmukhji, enjoy your moment.
