For quite some time now, the golden-yellow-brown colours of the famed late M A M' stable are not to be seen anywhere in the front in any of the Classic races. I want to go through records to see when this stable last won a Derby? (leave alone Chennai and Nilgiris Derby races please...)

Such is the pathetic state of affairs prevailing in this stable that the horses - Play Safe and Mark My Word - entered in the just-concluded Bangalore and Hderabad Derby races ended last!

What has happened to this once very powerful stable? What their veteran trainers are doing in different race centers?

It appears K Satheesh seems to be the lone trainer who is doing a mediocre business for the stables right now. In all other centres, it's almost a 'no win' situation..

Gone are the days when this stable used to hold the sway in every single centre and there were no classics without their prime participation. From that condition to today's "also ran" situation, it looks quite sad and surprising!
