Yes Mr Raghavan. If you go thru selection column of Derby Day, I strongly wrote Smasher and IS as winners.

Yes I played 2k on Smasher and did not even watch the Race as I was confident about getting 20K at the odds of 10 to 1. I just stood near the Bookie Counter in Pune for receiving the payment even before the Race could start.

Intense stylist & mozart would have been natural choices of too many punters.  So, if IS is withdrawn & Mozart had won, there would have been minimum 2000 tickets at the end of 4th leg.  And 5th leg, that is True grit would have been nominated by at least 100 members out of that 2000.

If, any horse is withdrawn, the nominations for that horse in a multileg pool will be automatically transferred to favorite.  I  do not think this policy needs any revision.  

Your suggestion that all horses in the field should be considered as winner if any one horse is withdrawn is neither realistic nor practical.

However, Smasher is a long priced horse.  Did you play that horse for win/place?

Irespect you and follower of your suggestion (TIPs). Even i had 3 tickets no2 intence stylist with no 5 as last leg banker. I have left to luck part and laughed it off. 

carring it with all the runners of the race if horse is withdrawn will be unjustice to the true winners backing the particular horse.                    Rather they should refund the money like as in case of tunella or win.
