Jockey Sandesh has been suspended for 2 days and 2 meetings during Calcutta Monsoon season for careless riding on the Last Judgment.

It was undoubtedly careless riding. Infact a bit dangerous as well but since the horse was under the whip fropm almost 600 it could have veered out. The Jockey showed a rare piece of poor judgment on the horse. However, there have far worse instances of dangerous riding but the punishment has not been so severe. As Indiarace repots in its selction for Kolkatta races tomorrow, the poor lad can kiss the championship good bye.

Jockey Sandesh is one of our better jockeys and  most times rides cleanly. Perhaps RCTC may review the harsh judgment.
