Jockey B Prakash

By Srikanth | 03-Apr-2019

It was very Unfortunate that none of the Racing clubs has conducted Jockey B Prakash Memorial cup. without any doubts he was Indias top Jockey, ridden more that 2000 winners, accross all centers in India. he has won almost all classics all over India. To his memory atleast one race should have been dedicated, but none of race clubs took any initiative to remeber this Jockey

Gentelmen

We should know that all the club activities was fixed before the death of B. Prakash and it is not possible to change the venues which is already published.

In future you may find there will be a race in the name of Prakash

I m fully  agree with Mr.Dexter advises.

Each racing center  in India their  should be one cup in the Name of Jockey B.Prakash.

To remember all the jockeys  threshold be a memorial  cup

Even  in the name of former trainer

Good  to remember at least we may loose  or gain in race

But  we can at least  once in a while remember

Regards

He was Sachin Tendulkar of Racing. There will never be a legend like him again. It is sad to see the club not organising a trophy for him.

B Prakash & Ramaswamy, as well as Gold & brown belt, scared the opponent, sad to hear no more Lions.

Very Right. There should be a race named in his honour as he holds the record for riding the most number of winners in India.I was surprized to read that he was in poor financial condition at the time of his demise as he must have definitely retired as a "Millionaire Jockey" before becoming a trainer. Irs easy to squander a large wealth legacy if investing unwisely or a victim of vices that consume your wealth.I won and lost large sums of money on the horses ridden by jockey B.Prakash /Owner Dr M.A.M . Ramaswamy during my 25 years + of racecourse attendances.
