Hats off Rupa! You have taken a bold decision to try your luck in a field that is dominated by your opposite sex. While your past role as jockey will come handy in your present task as trainer, I wonder at what pace you can grow if you remain in Ooty and Chennai? Sylvesta Storia, the first woman jockey to ride in India, made a smart decision to join the stables of Irfan Ghatala. You can also plan a move of similar sorts and many leading trainers will be keen to absorb you for your wide knowledge and talent. Looking forward to hear more about you in the coming days. My advice to her is shift your base to Bangalore or Hyderabad. Trainers started their carrier in Chennai and shifted to other center's has very good achievements like Sylvester,LD Silva,Dhariwal, Paddy,Netto to name few.
