Thanks for your reply. My query on today's 3rd race specifically was just to initiate a dialogue amongst us, which is kind of a learning process. I believe I am still learning and ever willing to after nearly 2 decades in racing. I respect your choices just as a few others here, and always shortlist them for serious consideration.

MM has expressed an opinion on the first race, and this generation of different opinions from racing experts here will have a healthy influence on others here who value such exchange of views, besides helping us to have a better understanding the nuances of horse racing.

And as a suggestion, would it not be helpful and productive to select 1 or 2 races in a day and debate the chances of the runners in a healthy exchange of ideas? ( Why restrict such an exercise only to the CLASSICS or GRADED races only !).

Trained and owned by Rakesh, the only fact that's ticking our minds  is  " steel shoes"  ether to back him in the betting ring or not is our risk! Is It a gamble from Rakesh?  Or he is just giving him an educative run? Regarding CRACKSMAN:  My small opinion on first race.  Trainers Monappa, Prashanth Pawar, Rakesh have most 3 year olds this year in their stable, and I seriously think this 3 year old race will win by one of them. Tr Monappa have all the best riding talents in this race.  Scarlet Burning have produced some useful finishes and I rate this horse much superior in this field. Artful is another from this stable need strong support.  Country's Light from Prashant Pawar cannot be ignored.  Hence I ignore Cracksman.  My final choice:  SCARLET BURNING or ARTFUL.

dear friends most of you have nodded for Cracksman o,n the first race i want draw your attention on two of the nagative of this horse running tommorrow , one is first run after castrated & second is the change of shoes . this horse never run with S shoes.And if you see his last track work is not so good as previous two so i think there is a catch.

In the third race, you have picked ON HER OWN and MARCH TO VICTORY as your 1st and 2nd choice. I would draw your attention to UNBELIEVABLE's last run in RN 105, 1200M, Trevor up,20 Feb 2019, where he came a flying 2nd to SIDANNI, after lying last in the initial stages of the race. No doubt ON HER OWN has the benefit of 2 runs in this season, and therefore a definite advantage over UNBELIEVABLE, but is there something else that I am missing? It's my DAY's BEST( will ignore if hot favorite), hence your valued opinion is sought.

Review of 1st race  The Bidadi Plate for maiden 3yr olds, dist. 1200 mts:  Total 11 maiden 3yr old runners out of which 4 are running first time and the potential of such runners are unknown. Trainer C D Monnappa entered 4 runners out of which two first timers and his wards fit and forward runners are Artful and Scarlet burning. Vishal Yadav’s Cracksman is the only 3yr old placed always on board in all previous runs. This colt gelded after testical problem and now running first time after gelding. This well body weight gelding ( weight around 435 kg ) is half brother to Hibiki and always ridden by the same jockey Anil Bandal. Though rating of this jockey is not very good but considering the rating of the gelding and rectification of the problem I rate Cracksman as my tip of the day and depending upon the odds can be played for win or place.
