'Breaking Bounds', trained by B Suresh and ridden by Shahar Babu, made mincemeat of the opposition in today's races to win the 1600 m race by a whopping margin right from the word 'go'. The odds of 16/10 was a decent price on the favourite.

That the animal clocked 1m 39 secs shows this is one of the best milers available in Ooty and Chennai now. More good things can be heard from this horse in the coming days.

'Breaking Bounds' was expected to win last time out but for reasons best known to the connections, it was given a tight run and still managed to finish third.
