If you look at the run of raging hot favourite 'Marco Polo' in the seventh and last race in Bengaluru on Sunday, it gives an impression that jockey P Trevor did not justice to the mount.
Eyebrows are being raised because of the bad positioning the rider took right from the start till the final bend, despite the level jump that he received.
For the powerful run unleashed in the straight, it appears that 'Marco Polo' would have easily had the measure of 'Renegade' if only the rider had remained a little more agile and taken a better position from the start.
This is what I observed from the race after watching it repeatedly here. Even otherwise Trevor had a forgettable Sunday yesterday.

Orenda was given a pathetic ride by Sandesh to lose. However, as you said, the horse took a sympathetic view on punters who backed it to it heavily, by not obliging to Sandesh to keep it away from Winning post. There was no need to put Orenda in a top gear right from the start by Sandesh.
Orenda will lead a healthy and long life.

Why we are questioning only Trevor Skills? What did Sanesh do , Infact Maurtina was having a very good chance to win, he didnt allow it run. Same he did with Star Chivarly. Trevor gives his best atleast 8 out of 10 times. unlike Sandesh. who will not allow horses to run 8 out of 10 times. on one day he will ride all winners. who will dare to back him . Ordena also Sandesh was trying his best to place horse second, but as punters who backed favourite were lucky got winning as horse didnot listen to him and galloped to win

Most of the strong favourites Trevor was ridden in a pathetic manner. He would have been got suspension long back. But no stewards in india had guts to suspend him. The same will continue in future also.

Marco polo and the odds on favourite it clearly know that this horse will not win
The top jockey should know that these type of dirty tricks they r using to unfit the horse and make hot favourite
Nothing but cheating stewards shoud make an detailed enquiry and let the public know
If same things continue people will lose trust on raceing

Never bet on a favorite in a plate race.
Marcopolo has won a race as a 4year old on 25-1-19 (It is almost the end of life - In the third season)
Renegade is a 3 year old and has a run benifit also became 4th, this showes Renegade was on job. As a 3yo Renegade is prefered aganist Macopolo
Star Cavelry had every credetial to win but it was not on Job.
Please place a bet on Marcopolo when it runs in the company of 4 year old and upwards.
