Costa brava has recently run a mock race and was on very tight reins where he re ran and won easily against champion desert god where desert god moved on whip in last part 

star superior also won the mock race easily by 1 3/4 lengths ahead of prevalent force on tight reins star superior till date has not ran on this weight till date he has carried 57 kgs comfortably till winning post now he has to carry 2 kgs etc whereas costa brava is winner in class 3 at top weight of 61kg by 1 3/4 lengths he has to carry 8.5 kgs less than   Star superior

This Sunday Star Superior and Prevalent force accepted for Cup race. Eventhough it's Mile race within his capacity Star Superior will find it difficult to beat Prevalent force who is also running his pet distance.

The 5 yr old bay gelding Costa Brava ran below par during invitational week end and lost as a firm favourite to Mauritania, earlier second to New England and conquered Sergeant at arms, likely to surprise and capable of winning this race. Out of 11 runs  he won five races and so far board out only once (finished 5th) and very consistent. Had a good mock race too on 2nd June beating Desert God.  Can’t be under estimated. A force to reckon.

Its diffcult to conquer Star Superior , unless the connections want him to lose. next best is Trevors Mount. One more Good thing for this week end racing, is Sandesh is not astride for many mounts. I guess he is guiding only 2 horses. so its a great relief. punters can have good chance to make money. IF he is there he will become one of the favourites and will not allow horse to run on full merit.
