In my opinion jockey himself can not do anything without the knowlege of his trainer or owner. Jockey is just an employee of tge trainer or owner. Punishment should be for all involved . But the jockey may not disclose honestly the behind the scene activities. Most of the punishment is just eye wash to fool the public they asre very strict.Jockey should be made to confess honestly the reason for his fault. He will not do it if he does he will never ride a horse in his life time and authorities also may not insist.  So the game will go on as usual.

SUDHIR:  A person approaches the court when he thinks injustice is done with him and he does not deserve the treatment, meted to him. Number of times the punishment awarded by clubs found harsh also and  not based on merit. So court’ intervention is necessary as settlement reached earlier in case of P Shroff where he was not at all at fault. Second thing if you regret for your doings, admit the guilt and promise not to repeat the offence, many times court gives lenient punishment or reduce the actual punishment with a warning to be careful and not repeat such things in future and you will be under scanner by the club and next time  if you repeat the offence, court not going to accept your regret or request and can award much tougher punishment.

Finally the court also proved PSC is a incompetent rider and he did not let the horse run on its merits. Should be penalized for wasting clubs money on lawyers.

Godzilla: The matter is resolved and P S Chouhan accepted the revised three month suspension which will come into force from Pune season.

Long time back, Shroff was suspended for a year by the then Madras Race Club. When the connections approached the Court,they were told to amicably settle the matter.

PSC shd approach with Stewards alongwith connections for resolving the matter.

PSC did a commendable job in all the centres and mostly his backed horses minted money for the punters, but then the punishment handed over to him would desist other jockeys to be utmost careful.. Will be missed for the entire Pune season, his replacement would be justifiable is to be seen.  Sharma Ji,  I had learned almost an year back that PSC wud be hanging his boots and trying for trainers license, any information, please share.  Thanks  &  Regards

PSC will try to win since now he is in the twilight stage of his career. 

PS of late has been giving his best on his rides. He is atleast trying to get on the board and atleast helping the punters to get some money on place bets. He is trying to give his best may to get a reduced punishtment. It is also worth to note that racing has changed drastically in the last decade. Jockeys seems to have a minimal role and they have to listen to the bookies, owners or other rulers, otherwsie their career will come to halt. HRC is one of the best examples, where many upcoming Jockeys career has been  put to an End. Good Jockeys like Arshad Asbar have opted to leave the center and ride at some other places.

If  the same principle is appled to all  Jockeys , then we can see some improvement in the racing. All the  present top Jockeys ( Sandesh, Trevor, Dashrath, Akshay, A Imran Khan) are not allowing many horses to run on merit. Rules should be made universal and not particular person, similar punishment was deserved for  many other Jockeys. but for the reasons know to Authorites they escaped
