A good number of readers are of the opinion that Suraj tanked the race deliberately.  For the argument sake let us agree to that.  But, whether the punters were right in betting that horse at that cramped odds?

Pulling a horse, not allowing the  horse to run on merits, or going all out on a higher priced horse at the cost of stablemate favorite is a trick very very common in India.  Punters could have exercsed some restraint!  From the remaining races as mamy as 4 won.(again 3 were at bettable odds).

I do no bet for win/place.  I had taken 40 tickets forecast on Suraj*Sandesh.  400/- gone.  

In a way,  I also thought  Silent Guardian is unbeatable.  But, I do not blame jockeys even if I am satisfied that there is some foul play by the jockeys.  

Even if Suraj is pulled up by stewards and suspended for 3 or 4 months, will Suraj starve?  You people have lost money.  Will you get back even 10 paise per rupee wagered?

The right disposal in such races is to declare the horse Silent Guardian as non-starter.  We have  some precedences for declaring a horse non starter.  

Majority of you are betting.  At half tax!  (10%).  For the sake of argument agree that jockey is fraud!  But certainly you are all not Sriramachandra, Yudhishtira or Harish chandra!  

Never play Trainer Neil horses as on favourites i assume my racing friends informed me they ate this horse and went back home 

I  just saw the video what was Jockey Suraj doing for a few moments it looked like it was hanging 

Skip or eat Neil horses when on money u will never lose

All the Stewards inquiry is a eyewash to fool the punters

Silent guardian gained weight by 19 kilos from the last run. I think the race is really well setup by these narredus to loose. Suraj only tried to ride him in the last 200 mts when Sandesh was about cross him tried to push the horse. Well played I think bookies red our coloumn in the horse talk about punters having an upper hand ;). I clearly saw that everyone invested all they have brought today on silent guardian just in perception that it is going to win any way. Stewards can’t give their money back anyway at least get these guys away so that these things can’t be repeated once again.

Race No 3 :- only for fluke players 10 may be come place in this tough filed Successor of STRIKING VIEW, JUSTICE ANGEL, GALLANT KNIGHT. and finished 3 with in 5lengths dist change 1100 to 1600.

Race No 4 :-Snowdon (3) couldnt get his position so it lost the race in my opinion in race no 27 same happened this time if it take positionit will win easily.Given two workout.AGNI will place here the review comment said, came like winner suddenly went back. now good jockey change ran in good company.

2.00 Ignore his last effort in a listed event #4 SILENT GUARDIAN made a promising introduction here in winters and can mount a bold bid with normal improvement. Legendary Princess and Ideological are capable of playing supporting roles.

2.35 #1 APOLLO BAY looks the one to side with despite disappointing on his latest outing as a favourite as he might have needed a run back from the spell  and he can prove too good with 3kg claim. #STRIDE OF PEARLS has improved with blinkers on and taken her form to a new level. She cannot be neglected on current form. Scarlet Princess and Smile Of Joy can fight it out for the places.

3.10 #2 KNIGHT TEMPLAR bumped into a runaway winner when second at this track last month, and might have more to offer over this distance. Sir Supremo has some good form in the book, while that comment also applies to Tenno Sho.

3.45 #1 INTO THE GROOVE came on strong when just beaten last start at C&D when first up, hard to hold out. Agni and Angelino look the pair to concentrate on for minor honours.

4.20 #3 ARECA LEGEND was a clear winner here last time and has a fantastic chance of following up. Spiritous held on gamely over track and trip latest and warrants plenty of respect in her bid for hattrick, rates as the main danger. Louisiana looks best of the rest. 

4.55 Bred in purple #2 COSMOS looks the pick of the recent winners and this son of Hills and Stars has more to offer over a mile and a furlong and rates as a decent bet. Next on the list is Foi Et Amour, who got back on track when second last time. Velocidad may need this outing back from the spell. 

5.30 #6 CHANTELLE gets top rider on-board and can earn her maiden tag. While #10 DARAHASINI cannot be ignored on the back of a good win. Musterion and Adventurer are others to note.

Race 1 - Love Music ran in "All blacks" last time and was in the front bunch till about 1000m, has to place under PSC.

Race 2 - Blinkers were removed from Smile of Joy in last run and is best at a mile. The extra 2 furlongs cost him a place last time out. Best chance to Win/place today.

Race 3 - Speaking of stars was a favourite in last run in good company. Has a decent Mock Race and with HOOD applied today, should place over a mile.

Race 4 - Straight fight between Into the groove and Agni, I would go with Agni for running in a much competitive bunch.

Race 5 - Louisiana was not given a strong ride by apprentice AS Peter last time, has to only tackle Areca Legend. Haedis Folly was very fractious last time around, should place if runs.

Race 6 - Cosmos is likely to hack this field. 

Race 7 - Tricky race but still Jon Snow with Tongue Strap applied and a strong rider to guide, has an upsetting chance.

Current track on 20/6/19 is the best 42.5 by A Sandesh who is on top on race day.(5)SIR SUPREMO is out of Speaking of Which(IRE)--Cool Mover Dam is not having good record of winning.If we compair record track work and prepration then Suraj Narredu who is on top have prepare the horse systematically with best track 39.5 & 38.5 all current tracks given by Suraj Narredu with run advantage looks better then KNIGHT TEMPLAR can win.

I agree with SC Sharma Saheb. His two picks Silent Guardian and Sir Supremo, have no reason to lose. Rest of the choices, I will come back.

Bhaskii: My choices are same as posted.  HALS:. Some time back I read a post in HT about Sir Supremo in which one of our learned friend rated this horse very high and declared a possible derby winner. This is a maiden race and I picked the horse because of  the high  expectations and rating of this horse, ,  at least should win this race . I respect your pick and the same is my second best choice though I didn't mention about this in my picks. Thanks.

Dear Sharma ji, connections intention on Sir Supremo is always doubtful, as the previous poor third suggests. Hence I fancy Knight Templer top breed 3yo to win. Into the groove n Musterion are the other two good bets. Thanks.
