Your write up is class and tells the facts about actual Racing. I dont think anyone explained in such a way about Racing.

You are truly an unsung hero, while in this world accolades are being showered on persons with half knowledge in any subject., leave aside Racing.

I really appreciate keen interest in Racing even though you may or might not have made money in Racing. Still Racing is with you and your criticism to support punters also appreciate . But with my 3 decades experience in Racing I would like to state that you can never make money if you do not understand the concept of Racing. All mischief incidents are part of the game. Punters should be aware of. All races are not conducted by merit or rather honestly. They can not also Managing a Race program is not so easay as we think because quitea lot mo money is involved. Whatever you may say as kong as we do not have unity among punters it will never be looked into.  The best suggestion as punter having lost as well as gained or recovered I can say take racing as a Hobby Play little for fun and go home enjoy life. You should not take Racing for a living. 99% of punters can not recist  temptation to skip a race or two. So there will very few chance for them to make money  Addiction plays a major role. If you follow regularly you can predict a few races  and be happy with you gain. Like any other trade you need to learn the job first. Win or place etc., Playing in peti and then sobbing is no use and one supply his commonsense. Play responsibly withing your boundaries and enjoy life

The real fact is I could get 2 to 1 odds for Beat the odds. This I played at 8 AM.

If you and sspp dont believe, God has to only help then. Dont be suspicious always.

Sorry to hear about your loss.  Mysore had softened maximum number of punters who were at their roaring best in the week end races at Bangalore.

Take a small rest.  Say for 10 days.  Then restart your betting.  With an open mind.  Forget about this 25,000/-.  It is gone and gone for ever.  No body among bettors would have assumed that Korol will be board out in a 6 horse field.

What is astonishing is a good rated horse with high rating, good jockey , excellent track work and immediate past run , where in horse looses y nose, does not even touch the board even 4th, it is just impossible to pick winners, it is like Mataka. Stewards are poor guys, who do not take a note of what's happening.

Mysore summer is only for stewards, trainers owners and jockeys . Punter should play 5 rupees or 10 rupees at max and watch the fun.

There can be no experts in racing. It is purely luck if you can pick a winner. There are n number of variables basis which the result could change in favour of one horse or the other. So, all these chest thumping on ones selection is nothing but ego massaging.

Without any shame you go to Mysore races and in the evening you start complaining about Mysore.

When you don't have complete knowledge of Mysore racing why do you go?

pssr an enquiry has been initiated against jockey p sai kumar rider of korol written complaint has been submitted by the trainer to the stewards of mysore race club.

@Pssr: it seems u r playing huge amount on place bet. I request I to pl follow my suggestion for good . For heaven's sake pl don't play favourites for place, if  they go for win there is chance for place, if they r not trying because they may not get good odds, may eat or they feel it cannot win. In such circumstances it won't place. Hence pl avoid and concentrate on second or third favourites, especially in maiden races. U can verify all records  in all centres that in maiden races u can avoid few horses on first look backside of jockey, horse weight, pedigree, dist. etc. The final selection will be 3 or 4 horses left . There u got to see the record, horse body weight, suitability of distance, paddock condition of horse, jockey, trainer, owner etc and play second or third favourites which is really a threat to the favourite. You can take advice from experts like SCS and others, but stop with one or two bets for the day. Hope u will study my suggestion deeply with records and satisfy. Thanks.

If I'm not wrong some years back you posted one topic named as 'Punters yoga' which is a meditation to keep ourselves calm and contented during racing time.Could you please post it again?

@ Godzilla, I hold you in very high esteem ever since I started coming across your posts here long before. How can i forget yr firm tipping on 'Tintinnabulation' at 10/1? However, to see such a respectable person starting to tell lies (yr claim that U played Beat The Odds at 18/10 when the horse was offered at 6/10?) only goes to show to what extent racing can lower a human being! It means you had not been to Mysuru races on that day and did not play either 'Royal Command' or 'London', right? Picking a longer odds sitting at home is quite different from playing the horse in the ring, isn't it? At one time, you had a huge fan-following in HT. Pl bring back those days through practical comments and sheer honesty.

Please look at the winning margins of the first 6 Races. 

In all the races, 5 to 6 horses finished within Three and a half lengths. 

In such a competitive races, where is the question for cribbing  ?

It is absolutely correct,it was a day light robbery on Wednesday races to all punters almost all centres in India

I too expected the day going to be bookies side, but there is No mercy, I played Korol place @32/100 an amount of 25,000,because it was heavily backed.My total loss on that day was 50,000.

This is one among 3 centers in which racing will be predecided by some influential people.  The other two centers are Madras and Hyderabad. Horses which have never won in the  last 10+ runs will suddently emerge as winner , They decide placings in such a manner that even .01% indication will not be there to understand which horse is coming on to board. Jockeys who are never placed on the board at other centers will come out as top Jockeys..In other way we should understand that it is giving living to some professionals and owners after snatching money from punters. The most discouraging thing about these centers is favourite will be not even placed and  as the money keeps on pouring the chance of placing the horse even third reduces. Mysore Monsoon will be much better compared to Summer as there will be no Bangalore season going at that time. If i am correct Mysore club is having a distinction of declaring a derby race Null and void some years ago.

Instead of going here, we can give atleast 25% of what we intend to bet on these centers for some social cause.

Not only is it a graveyard for punters, I see in future many may commit suicide or loose their right thinking, if they continue playing at this center. This club needs to be closed down totally, lock, stock and barrel.  But, as usual, many will not agree. Why...because they are half boiled potatoes.

Open daylight robbery is taking place, and race goer's cannot do a damn thing, except go home with empty pockets.

Administrators should be thrown out from the club premises. 

In olden day's, for such racing, punters used to break T V's and furniture. But now, these crooked connections/administrators make sure no such thing happens by arranging much security for themselves and the club.

People are damn fools playing at this canter.

We cannot expect the same results at all the nine racing centres of India where flat horse is being conducted by various turf authorities.  You rightly mentioned in your post there are so many factors and reasons like old age horses, from whome you cannot expect consistently good results. At times racing will be cruel, merciless and not favourable or not as per expectations of the punters.    We all are well aware about all these facts and have to be aware because  the final option also rests with us to invest in such races or not, or attend  such  races  or not, or wait for other centre races which we like most. We are free to take such good decisions  in our favour for our own interest and nobody is applying any pressure or force on us.  I believe most of the punters are not even backing their normal stake at Mysore races and adopting cautious and responsible approach. A punter is expected to use all his available options and select races  which suits him best and  well to his interest.

Mysore races, particularly winter & summer races are heavily biased towards bookies.

Before slamming owners/trainers/jockeys we should see whether any enquiry can be initiated on jockeys or any charges slapped on them.

Three horses, Tarek, Pickachu & Anteros dominated the betting.  Punters luckily were spared the pounding by Tarek.  Other two horses drowned the punters.

Now, tell me SSPP, whether Pickachu and Anteros are such sure shots that bookies quoted odds-on on those two.  And what can be said about the wisdom of punters who had their bets as if there is no tomorrow.  Many punters had bets of 5000 or 10000 on these two and went home with sheepish look. 

Only race where the favorite confidently won was Beat the odds!

Mysore is a center where champion horses like Desert God and Serjeant at Arms have tasted defeat.  It is the curse at that center!  Punters should resist the temptation to bet heavily at Mysore and also Kolkata.

They could have opted  to bet a maximum of 1000/- per race.  Even that 1000/- I am saying because bookies insist minimum that much bet to allow half tax.  If they completely avoided bookies & bet 300/500 at tote, then it is still better.  Skipping the race is the best idea.  But that is too high expectation.

I do not say stake holders are incarnation of Srirama, Harishchandra.  They are too smart (I think I should say cunning).  But the punters also should accept their faults.  Heavens would not have fallen if they waited for BNG weekend races.  They may however lose at BNG also.  But the supervision at BNG & MUM is definitely better than what is seen at other centers.

Yes you are 100% correct...Many experts calculations failed totally on 19th Mysore races...Except 2 races all are unpredictable by seniors who are having very vast knowledge...Agree with your comments about mysore races though I am having very less knowledge...You revealed the facts...Thank you sir...

Mysore Races are fair and real racing. I would advise the punters to skip other Centres and attend Mysore Races only.

Yesterday I played Royal Command at 7 to 1, Beat the Odds at 18/10. London both Win and Place.

At the end of the day at Mysore, I came out plus substantially.
