This is in continuation to reply of Shri BKD ji to your query / Post concerning PTR contest ( Now known as "THE PTR") , the very change in name itself asserts the command of this Contest which we wanted to take it forward with the Inventor of this Late Srikanth ( Speedrating Blog) and a very close friend of yours and a very very big fan of you , whom we lost few months ago unfortumately, joining a Lengthy discussion with Shri S K Sagar Saab and the entire structure and Norms to the contest was revamped. Your post would have caused a big agony and pain to the memory of Late Srikanth.
Coming back to "THE PTR" Contest, your view is in total contrast to the basic idea with which this contest was commenced. Not Many even today know what PTR stands for but the enthusiasm the contestants have, is something one has to feel , rather than coming-in with volumes of investments and multiple selections in the contest. It is not a contest for single selections at all ... These exists in the selections Thread opened every race day but without any POINTS in NNP's and not in contest form but on Voluntary form.
THE PTR and the Annual Prestigious "The Four winter Derbies PTR Contests" from Our Own S K Sagar Saab are two events where the structure of the contests have been maintained " Status Quo" but amended slightly to the need of the Hour Y.O.Y has been the very foundation of Contestants Beliefs and Passion towards this sport which is aptly termed as "Sports of Skill" since it is aimed to have their investments of their choice and come to an conclusion over a period of time to analyse where they are going wrong with thier actual investments. It also depicts how big investments without a proper plan would land them in perils and clean their pockets dry in Live Race time. this contest provides intentionally a avenue to every contestant to go in for such investments but keeping the Terms and Conditions on Daily basis during the thenure of this contests. Such big investments are not possible in Live Races are known not only to the P Community i.e. contestants but also we as Contest Administrators. It is with backdrop the contest aims to provide the Thrills , Competing environment and also a chance to contestants to think big and why not.
We in THE PTR Contests managment Team sometime ago posted very widely in HT , incorporated the THREE R's ( Recognise - Reward - Respect ) solely aimed at contestant /s and to provide them an opportunity to participate big in Points through this contest to provide them the required impetus which otherwise is not possible to them in Live racing and THIS CONTEST IS NOT AT ALL CONCERNED WITH THE VOLUME OF MONEY but an avenue through which he participates to be part of the thrills and shrills of this sport via the medium of this contest. So in a way its overall appearance is in absolute Sporting terms than the commercials which go into it.
The Likes of Abhay Pune / Against Odds / Vampsvenom/ BKD and many others in the contests for ages Now and are names synonyms to Principles of Seriousness, competing and challenging attitude, absolute sporting minded Contestants and Experts in thier own way for solving the serious question of identifying the Prospects of winners etc in this sport.
This contest's backbone apart from Contestants are names like Dharmesh Nagda, Libero, Rakesh Menon, @ The Doc , DRS JI , Ramiyer , SVK Raju Ji , The ardent Fan and Lover of this sport Shri Virgorao Saab , The Man of the Decade Shri Raghavan whose write ups and Criticisms are well acclaimed by one and all in our HT.
Sir Ji.... please do not come into commercials mode in these contests and come in with your big heart and think in a different perspective and the one which is actually taught of , for which these contests are created.
@ SUN : The reply to your question lies in the post above and THE PTR is not the one which you are thinking .... we have expanded the contest structure now by bringing in ROLLS and Sagar Ji's implementation of ROLLS on Forecast and Trinella for the " Four Winter Derbies PTR Contest" speak volumes of improvements in these contests and portrays the time and energy spent by every member in the management Team to develop the competing and sporting environment into these contests apart from the massive support from IR.com Team management , we have now started delivering the Rewards to the Contestants from the last two years or so and recently we have declared the prizes for the prospective Winners and Runners of the Current Bangalore Contests thus Giving the 3 R's to the Punting Cum Contestants Community in the " THE PTR CONTEST"
@ BKD :- That was simply Fantastic from you and you yourself have been the Backbone for the success of many a contests in HT and in real terms you have been a crusader for benefits to the P Community. Hats OFF Sir Ji. you and me have been a great admirer of Lawani JI and his contribution as well to this sport.
