Chaltha hai.  He is tired.  But has shown patience in going through my post.   He has expressed his opinion.  No problem whatsoever.  He could have as well skipped going through all the trouble.

I think tote betting is a race-related matter, and this is a forum that allows, free discussion on the behavior of the tote. Those who are not interested can skip. 

IAM bored of these tote players problem. No one can solve their problems here in HT. Still they bore everyone . PL take up matter with clubs and spare us

Yes.  I have mentioned specifically that the BNG disbursed dividend as per rules.   And, we can not question those rules.

But, my thinking is different.  I am of the view that when only 3 horses actually ran, the shp, thp, forecast/quinella/trinella bets could have declared  void.  They should make necessary corrections in the  rules regarding disbursement of dividends.

I believe you.  And I presume majority (or all)  of the horsetalk members believe you.

But, the problem is, our belief or disbelief has little or nil effect as far as you two are concerned.  The club will not hear your complint since it is half tax bet.  So, the only person who can give remedy is the concerned bookmaker.

When the bookmaker pretends that your bet is not on the winner or the odds claimed by you is wrong, there is very little outsiders can do.

At BNG, the bookmakers accept the bets and give bet slip.  So, if you bet 2000, they will collect 2200, but give you bet slip as if you have wagered 120/-.  So, I presume there are no complaints like what you said.  (if you bet 5000/-, they will give card mentioning your bet as 150).

So, there is no confusion on that account.

P S:  You could have opened separate thread.  Other punters who have similar complaints wuld have conveyed their experience.

Blackburn@ you should be happy that at least you got 6-1.  I had a similar experience six months back with Ajay bookie in Chennai.  Even after confirming my bet he said that I had played the wrong horse and I was robbed of RS.10000/-.  Ajay bookie is very active in Chennai and cheats on everyday basis.  He should be banned in Chennai.  

I am posting this just to release my frustration as I know nothing can be done to the bookie who wilfully cheated me today with smiling face.

Today I placed a bet for 7/1 on Saddle the wind in the race no. 5 at  (Delhi Race Course) 1 minute before the starting of the race and I confirm the same with the guy sitting in the counter and the horse placed good 2nd. But at the time of making the payment the person who had confirmed the betting was paying me only 12k (as I had played 2k) stating that the Odd was for 5/1. When I told him that the near by bookies were giving 7/1 odds for the horse den y the hell would i play at your book for 5/1 then after few minutes of arguments he offered me 6/1 but wen I complained d same to the owner of the book by god's grace he became "Gazni" as did not recall the odd which he put for the horse 5 minutes back and asked me to check the CCTV recording.

The main culprit is the person sitting in the counter who confirms the bet as he was thinking that this horse will not place anywhere so was planning to eat the horse. This is the second time the same person has done this thing. I am not sure if he was working with the same book but he did cheat earlier also (around 1year ago, den also I reached out to management team but dey could not do anything as it was not a card betting). I do not know the name of the person but will definetly find out and will share in the same thread.

For small punters like me 2000 (as they agreed to pay at 6/1) means a lot as it is not always that we get upset place but it hardly matters for corrupt bookies. I really could not understand how does this Rs. 2000 only matters for a bookie who take bet in lakhs. Really shamful and disgusting.

I wish we had any punter association where I could have reach out.

That Mr Raghvan could be SELFIE STAR was withdrawn after MORNING SALES opened and at that time there were 4 Runners so all looks are on
