DESERT GOD - Burden of Proof
I dont know if this will be the record if DG will lift the Cup for the third time.
Most of us think that 3/4 year olds are better/stronger compared to the horses who are 5 years or 5+. But let me tell you if the horse is kept well and in good condition, it travels longer distances much better than the younger horses.
DG is beaten most of them in previous races at different centers.
SECRETIVE FORCE - By Multidimentional is come up very well in last couple of runs winning over 2000m and 2400m recently. In last run beat Dialed Opinion by a nk which was a G3 race, This was the only term race won by SF.
Comparing the two with above analysis, I strongly believe that DG will lift the cup for the third time.

Desert God from start to finish. What a fantastic run!! Nowhere Desert God showed tiredness. Paddy has got life time achievement in the firm of Desert God!! I don't think he will retire to stud now may be taken to Pune or Mumbai for any big races. I m sure in the present firm Desert God wud run races till reach 10 years of age.

I have taken the average weight of each horses in the last 7 races, and surprisingly found, except MY OPINION all other horses are getting weight advantage today.
1. Desert God, Average 59.5 kg, today 58, so minus 1.5 kg
2. My Opinion , Average 58, today 58, so +/- 0
3. Reunion, Average 58.5, today 53.5, so minus 5 kg
6. Secretive Force 56.0 kg, today 53.5, so minus 2.5 kg
7. Like Wise 57.0 kg, today 50.5 kg, so minus 6.5 kg.
I think My Opinion has won prestigious races and stake money earlier hence it is going to be a tough customer here. NOW look at the penalties as per the terms of this race:
1. Desert God + 6 Kg
2. My Opinion + 6 Kg
3. Reunion + 1.5 Kg
4. Secretive Force + 1.5 kg
5. Like Wise + 0 kg
So the Clubs Terms for this race respects MY OPINON by keeping abreast of Desert God in terms of weight, however, the official rating of MY OPINION is 1.5 kg better than Desert God. So I think today we may witness an upset in this race.
