Yesterday in the fourth race The Dyanamic Dancer Plate  of seventeenth day Hyderabad monsoon races horse no 1 Man Apart’s jockey Afroz Khan dismounted after jumpout and travelling some distance while trying to take a forward move to gain good position. Many eye brows raised and doubts expressed by horse lovers about this  incident which could have resulted in a major incident , accident or  tragedy. This young talented jockey is second on jockeys table after local champion and darling boy of the crowd Akshay Kumar and close and neck to neck  in fight for champion jockey. The action of stewards also surprised for not ordering a stewards enquiry into the incident to look in detail and white con hosted as if nothing happened and no need to look into such a incident and to inform the racing public.  Hope some  reasons will be mentioned in the race day report later.

Before further discussion I wish the jockey Afroz Khan,  young talented boy to remain unhurt and safe and wish him many successes in coming days. We will continue to see him in action, though yesterday he didn’t fulfil his riding engagements further.

Such  incidents occur by loose saddling, which results in unbalcing the jockey to ride and to avoid life risks in such cases many times jockeys prefer to jump. This is a case of jumpout, or jockey dropped  or dislodged intentionally or everything happened unintentionally ? Truth is to be found and placed before one and all. If it was due to loose saddling than who should be held responsible and fined/warned/ or suspended?. Racing started long back in our country from 1780 and the existing rules and laws have many loopholes and very old which never corrected and stricter laws and rules were framed and finally the most sufferer is the poor punter for his no faults. 

The pace and timing of the  fourth race won by Baywatch Babe further  indicate the superiority of Man Apart in this bunch, which was looking cut above the rest and fancied and backed down accordingly. Jockeys dismounting, jumping,dislodging or drooped from the favourites incidents occurrences are very less so if a horse runs or completes the trip without jockey irrespective of whether it is a favourite or non favourite,  due to any of the above reasons, the horse should de declared a non  starter and public money should be refunded as they are paying the penalty for their no fault and the running of the riderless horse on merit is in question. No one backs a horse to complete the trip riderless ?  It is the duty of the race club to ensure normal running beyond doubts.  Further to stop  recurrences of such incidents rules and laws should be made stricter and changed  to remind concerned trainer or jockey that carelessness  or negligence on their part will not be tolerated and stricter actions should be taken without any delay against the responsible and the updates to be informed to general public and horse lovers.
