Turf Authorities argued well!  O K.  That means they did not arued with the sincerity till now.  

Mr Aravind, please remember that  we paid GST for 27 months so far!  Abut the turf club lawyers pleading for reducing GST on horse races, I am not very optimistic!

To me  GST rates are O K.  I am not playing for win/place at the tote.  Forecast gives decent payout even in this GST era and I am happy if  I am correct in one out of 7/8 bets.  Even if all my bets fail also, that is not at all worry to me.  I bet very low amount and can certainly afford  to lose!   

Regarding GST I will tell only this much.  If you threaten me, blackmail me and compel me to hand over my purse to you that is robbery.  If the Government does that in large scale, it is economics!

Nothing fruitful will materialise even if the turf clubs employ the best lawyer to plead for reduction of GST.

THE CURRENT RATE OF GST IS A GOD SENT GIFT TO ME.   At BNG, before GST was intooduced, my normal bets were 1000/2000.  Today my bets are 250/300; rarely 500.  

It was to be discussed at Goa but due to pacuty of time it has been given to GOM to decide and report in next GST meeting. Racing GST was in agenda. State Minister started arguing for GST reduction in horse racing. But council felt to decide by GOM. Hope in next meeting it wud be reduced. Turf club authorities represented with good and valid arguments.

There is no mention of Racing in it.
