The reasons being 1.Late entry fees of over 5 lakhs.This indicates his connections' level of confidence in this horse. 2.Although his sire Phoenix Tower does not suit for this monsoon derby trip, yet his dam's linage through Galelio is proof enough for his staying ability. 3.Finally his style of running resembles that of War Hammer and Well Connected. Therefore, one may expect a great show from Tenno Sho provided track condition and rain do not play spoilsport.All the best guys.

Dandified in 2011 and Silverina in 2012 won colt and fillies in monsoon season and went on to win the derby during the season baring them no Colts or fillies trial winner has won the monsoon derby.

So you can forget Tenno sho and Izzy. Trafalgar should win the monsoon derby.

It would be foolish to even think that Izzy would win the Derby. Derby's are mostly won by top (Owners/Jockeys/Trainers), none here. 

Joydeep Dutta Gupta has Trafalgar and Rosina. One of them should lift the monsoon derby and I would back Rosina to the hilt.
