Watch Cape Kidnappers. Was trailing second last till bend, improved quickly behind well-connected at 500 , switched to inside and an easy fourth just 2.5 length behind. A sure Place prospect. May even surprise.

The never-ending rivalry:

1. Consigliori: Half brother to a good type captain morgan who did well even in stayers cup over 3000 meters. But this horse has never seen this trip so far, did well over a mile in the last outing but running against some of these too good for his class horses.

2. Impavid: A fine colt whom I felt would lift the Bangalore summer derby would have definitely won if the weather is in his favor that day and entire credit should go David Allan for pulling it off. A change of tactic was displayed in the last outing, but I don't think that would suit him. With rider switch and if they adopt the change of tactic, I don't think he would be able to make it this time.

3. Royal crystal: Had 2 runs over this distance of 2000 meters. was a far away 8th in the Bangalore derby, I don't think he is going to disturb the first 2 placings its only a fight for third.

4&5. Tetra rama&Artistry: Tetra Rama looks better when compared with each other but again the fight is only for a better position after impavid and well connected.

6. Cape Kidnappers: A filly whose done well whenever tasked. If she finds herself well she will definitely find herself in 3rd or 4th position without effort when compared to Tetra Rama and artistry.

7. Well connected: The star of the show, took a bit of time to make a move in the last run over 1600 meters Padmanabhan and Sandesh were well connected as well. should come up with a bold show once again. I would love to her see her coming from inside which could maker her victory much easier rather than traveling 3 or 4 horses wide and then making a move as she is coming out of better gate now when compared to that off Bangalore derby. Tracking extremely well, had enough time to be prepared than impavid. She is going to be the one for me who is going to chase everyone with blistering turn of foot.

I expect the result to be;

1. Well connected.

2. Impavid.

3. cape kidnappers.

Intriguing thing is whether Impavid will run its customary running or change of tactics coz same trainer horse Royal Crystal will be ridden by Suraj Narredu, who instead might hit front.  The pacemaker is going to be very fast so that Well Connected finds difficult to overcome.  

Last run of well connected was v easy and Cape Kidnappers at a threatening distance wound up, may 2000 m will suit.  

Views if any.

Hyderabad's long straight is suitable for the running style of Well Connected. Also Sandesh chose Well Connected over Impavid. Shrinath is not good with front running horses. Well connected was lucky enough to pip the leader on post twice. Royal Crystal can spring surpise.

I see many challanges to cheeku in this thread.

My friends remember one thing  A. Sandesh rode both the Impavid and well connected before he knows everything of both the horses. There is not doubt about these 2 horses they stay and win.

Conclusion: Cheeku is a hard rider and if he settles the horse in a good position we can expect Impavid's win.
