Postmortem is essential in every sphere.

1. If a person dies under mysterious circumstances, postmorten is conducted to find out cause of death.......

Like wise

2, If we fail in our choice, in picking a winner, postmortem becomes a must as to where we goofed up.

This act will only enrich our knowledge. As such dont oppose postmortem.

HT forum is for healthy debate no offence to you sir you are taking merit of the horse after it has its fine but sir there other horse who were better placed on merit than the horses that won .

Point one Havelock Cruise was placed 3rd to derby winner in the previous outing but it failed to place also so on that count Consiliglori had no chance. 

Point two well Connected and IMPAVID were miles ahead of Consiliglori on merit.

The derby was arranged merit goes in the dustbin.

Name Change

We can only select horses and write our choices in HT column, which should not be treated as certain Winners.

There are two further angles which one has to decide only at Race Course.

1. Odds .. Morning .....Opening by Bookies

2. Trend

For your information I was down by 17K by playing my choices till 4th Race. Once I saw AKs riding, I had decided to back AKs remaining two mounts, come what may. I could make 54k plus from 17k down.

These type of decisions are based on instincts and trend and cannot be predicted in advance.

If everyone gives the winners beforehand, then the bookies will become paupers and the punters multi millionaires.

Name change I agree with you , it’s usless giving explanation of all these Horses after the results , If you invite many more to give details of derby day results, many experts would give better explanation, it’s over and now foresee the future races

What is the point in your post-results' commentary ?   The fact is you gave 9 selections in 9 races, and all failed !!!

i feel its a waste of making postmortem.

It's very easy to give conclusions after completing the race but Mr. Godgilla pls look at your selection before racing i dint know why you are always supporting hyd srewards?,   are you doing the job for them?

Lost JP on Consigliori, just because of jockey who never won a Derby earlier and hence ignored

Its of no use to see the merit of the horse after it has won before it runs you should have seen and tipped it

It makes no sense of if and buts after game is over.
