No David Egan here but the lad has definitely impressed in his short stint here.
There are 3 out station horses viz Kariega, Ice Floe n Winall.
The local contenders are Paso Robles, Flamboyant Lady, Cape Kidnappers n British Empress
BRITISH EMPRESS
Has won over 1600 n 1800 m with Akshay in the saddle, now runs with Sandesh up, rank outsider. Earlier second to Mysore Guineas winner Norhern Alliance over 1400m.
CAPE KIDNAPPERS
Started with a bang winning the Niligiris 1000 guineas, since then run mostly in classics with no motive, Trevor has been engage so can place.
FLAMBOYANT LADY
Bridesmaid on a couple of occasions, with Colm astride can improve but the question is will step up in this company.
ICE FLOE
Beat a late finishing Hokkaido over 1200m before being a faraway third to Northen Aliance.
The only +ve factor is the jockey but has miles to catch with British Empress on drawing alone through Northern Alliance.
KARIEGA
Was the Fillies mile winner in last Mumbai but subsequent runs have been poor, now runs over suitable runner, question remains on he durability.
PASO ROBLES
Smashing winner last time over The Great Gatsby n Suraj takes the ride. Late run suggests ample improvement but again questions about the class.
