The Commentator used a good type of words like suraj says go baby go and immediately the horse ran to the front. It was nice to hear.

I was introduced to Satishs family by the redoubtable Tom Krish a few years back and was part of a few celebrations in their family.

During 2013 Invitation Weekend at Calcutta,we all stayed in the ame hotel and together went for KaliMatas Darshan,with Mallesh taking the lead.

A close knit family with Satish,undisputed Head .

They richly deserve the Three out of the world achievements.

Now,that Suraj has announced that he loves riding and has no intention of turning a Trainer,let me wish him

To join the elite club of 2000 winners is a matter of respect, proud and really a dream cum true for any jockey. Main thing is to main such a superb fitness level to ride with vighour and potential. We have seen number of racing incidents and to overcome and ride at best is not easy. Up down comes in every jockeys life and racing fraternity is  well known for its inconsistent behaviour.  Leave behind his all other merit and demerits but this is the real  time to congratulate Suraj  openly and wholeheartedly for this rare milestone and wish him all the best for future endeavours and engagements .

I happened to be at Kolkata race on 1000G day as Suraj in one of the race was going toward  his mount I wished him good luck to reach the the target of 2000 wins very soon he replied back thanking me nice gesture on part of Suraj.

As Suraj said in a recent TCG interview, fans pin inn when needed the most & yes he has a lot of them to cheer to get to 2500 mark.

Thanks to Akshay Kumar he did not raise a sweat to win with Rule the World. No point n the race Akshay kumar made an effort on the favorite who was just walking the strech of 2000 metres to finish fourth. Neither did he place Dandy Man anywhere is position to win still it runs into second place. Thuough i had backed both I had a good bet on Pentagon for place purely based of Afroz Khan becuse yesterday was his day. These jockeys by doing this are pyrely earning thw wreath of innocent punters, I am certain there will be some in HT who will say it is all in racing. Please avoid betting on Suraj and AK in future particularly whe they are favorites and follow jockeys like B R Kumar. Jitendra Singh, Afroz  khan and Kiran Naidu to name a few you will be better off

Congratulations Suraj. As they say in cricket century is a century whatever may be the quality of opposition. So to this man completed 2000 with the help of family and relatives in racing using their clout. With very few jockeys (3 to 4) he was able to get rides and achieve this land mark. He was able to complete today with a little help from fellow jockey Akshay who rode indifferent race in these two races. Whether he would have won or not but he never gave a fight.

Truly he deserves congratulations to complete 2000 winners in India including some winners in foreign land. During 17 years you forget how many are burned their fingers by following Suraj. I remember all those bitter comments written by you from time to time. Just remember once again!
