Sorry,it was Alexander Dumas which was not ridden on merits when it lost to Roman Senator. My choice is AD to be ridden by AK to give his first classic victory , though he has won in Ooty.

Lightning Bolt should beat Impavid & Roman Senator duo.  As per  the past records the horses which perform well in Summers never do well in Winters or in the main season, be it any centre.  Pune horses hardly perform in Mumbai and Bangalore summer performers fail in Winters and so forth.  ...

Mumbai 1000 g & 2000 g also Pune performers would simply fade away. Just watch it.

David Allan is the stable jockey for Paddy. What is interesting when he is declared to ride his horse Roman Senator. Impavids jockey selection is interesting. Srinath rode last time and he is riding Alexander Burns. This horse was not ridden on merits last time as a hot favourite against Roman Senator. Alexander burns is certain PLACE. As per my calculation  Lightning Bolt has a chance to win this race. Horses for courses. Impavid has blotted his graph with some disappointing performances.

As seen in Bangalore 1000 guineas  We'll Connected could not regain her form of old as it is tough to come back once the momentum is lost. Of course there are some other good horses but the momentum seems to be with Lightning  Bolt coming of a win in a highly competitive race.
