The turf clubs will not subject the punters to double taxation.  So, one need need not worry on that aspect.

Let me explain.

Jackpot sales on a day, let us say  10 lakhs.  From this 4.6 lakhs  (46%) will be accounted towards club commission + gst.  And 5.4 lakhs will be available for distribution.  Let us say, in case there are no successful tickets,  they will add that in a subsequent day to jp pool.

And let us say, on the day c/f amount is added, the sales is 15 lakhs.  From 15 lakhs they will deduct 46% that is 6.9 lakhs towards tax & commission.  The amount available for distribution is 8.1 lakhs.  To this 8.1 lakhs, the c/f amount of 5.4 lakhs is added and the total amount available for distribution will be 13.5 lakhs.

If they are adding that on a special day to attract some extra  crowd, well and good.   Though I feel it should be in the next 10 days as they are doing it for trinella, treble etc, I agree that adding that amount on special day like derby, Invitation cup may be a good marketing policy. 

What I am asking is, in such cases, they should publish in their website the date on which such amount  will be added.   They can disclose this aspect in 2 or 3 days after the jackpot amount is carried over.

I only expect that the clubs will stop playing cat & mouse game with punters.   Anyway, thanks for your message.  And, I must say that I have not done a great thing.  So, there was no need to praise me at all.

100 times it is clarified that CF amount is not taxed twice. Yet same ppl same query. 

Another aspect of such Carried Over JPs:

This amount is AFTER deducting the 40 percent From the amount collected,is it not?

Then,when the amount is ADDED to collections on any OTHER DAY,AGAIN,another 40 percent is cut,to the best of my knowledge.

If so,is it justified?

As per my knowledge all the truf clubs in India do the same! Carred over  Jackpot pool amount will bee added on main events of the season!

I remember, During 17-18 main season at bangalore, the Bangalore truf club added a carryover amount 2lakhs something and an additional 3 lakhs from the club on the Derby Day! 

Coming to the point! Today at Mysore the main event of the season THE CHAMUNDI MILLION is been run hence I this decision from the Mysore truf club. 

Nothing to worry about the money until and unless the money is accounted! 

Consortium of Club Memners as association ( TAI) ..... it should have been their KRA..... a thousand question goes unanswered and becomes 1001 st in the hands of P Community...... Irony what goes out from P as question comes back to him as question ......The existance of TAI as no value addition at all then why it is existing..... to decide Invitations and venue..... RC's Clerk has been doing better job at various Rc's than TAI..

Sir, I was in the racing field for the past 43 years and no race club in india they are not following what you said... Whenever the JP is c/f they will announce that the amount has been c/f and the date they are going to be added will be announced later... No club will add the amount on the succeeding day.. Only trinella pool, exacta pool, forecast pool and quinella pool will be added in the next race only. On Indian derby day the rwitc will add 50lakhs or so every year, where from they are getting this amount? C/F amounts they will combine and add on some special days... Till that date the clubs are enjoying the interest accrued on those amounts.
