I backed Juliet in the 1000Gns. I was in two minds in 2000Gns. Ramu’s or the lady trainers ? Kept quiet. Seeing the the way Juliet winning the2000Gns l felt “  Boss is going to win this Derby again “  Now this guy has picked the horn and started blowing it in  a shrill voice. My observation on your two choices well ANJEZE ,if you see the oaks run,she was off the bridle at the bend itself and she took eternity to overtake a class three non stayer like SPEEDSTER

NO way ANJEZE will be in the first in INDIAN DERBY,she will be at best a also ran

Regarding WAR HAMMER ,well we will know in 26/1,The Bangalore derby till then I reserve my observation but I firmly bieve that he will not stay .His tremendous burst is at best till 2000 ,best over mile.To sustain ,2400 and then accelerate need something special.

Top gear in the last 200 from Juliette was very impressive. The way she overtook one by one was remarkable. I think no filly at present can beat her.

Indian Derby is rarely won by favorites. Top form horses has faced defeat at ID. Being a filly is always going to be difficult for Juliette to win when it runs with Colts and Geldings. Like, man vs women.

Alexie who ran a top race in 2000G, it was start left by 3 to 4 Lengths then  managed to catch up and then ran brilliantly to take lead and lost by neck.

Alexie, from master trainer stable will run a bold race in Indian Derby.

They are Anjeze n War Hammer who will meet again in Mysore in March for the Invitation.

I had strongly fancied Juliette yesterday...but the Indian Derby is a different ballgame. Juliette is a small made filly and running 2400mts in a span of 2 weeks is a difficult task. I fancy Alexie or Knights templar in the Derby.
