Indian derby has open look this year with n particular horse catching the imagination cosmic ray trainer said clearly after mysore derby horse does no stay the distance traflagar kol derby winner won in a close finish i dont think trainer will take him there chennai derby winner sir supremo won in very slow timing of 2.37 sec juliette won very impressively the oaks but the gap between oaks and derby should be atleast 21 days 2 horses have bit the dust pasoroble won oaks but could not win derby with 14days time same with supreme fragnanece in chennai no doubt julliete won well she is a fillybut gap is 14 days only last filly who did run blinder was jacquelline  hyd derby winner royal crystal looks ok 2 mile and half race in 2 weeks looks a bit difficult to me .blore derby at mercy of 2 horses anjeze and warhammer according to me from mumbai challenger victorious sermon steam rolled the entire opposition is horse to watch out

Most of you are pointing Pesis horse Alexei as a contender.

May I know the reason why?

My query is on the following factors 

1 Has it gone over a mile, forget a mile n half

2 it has no run post Guineas, nor any exceptional track. When well connected lost the Guineas,  she was tracked  by Paddy more than twice.

3. What is the dp factor for the horse

I personally like first 2 names.. ALEXIE is also late rusher so the war hammer 

But ear hammer pedigree will. Not stay for 2400 hrs.. ALEXIE might upset the race as she has a late dash

In the Indian Derby, current form favours Juliette to annexe the cup. She is always coming from the rear which ideally suits the gruelling 2400 mtrs race . Any probable threat if any means, it may come from War Hammer which is also a late rusher.

There is absolutely  no chance for Well Connected, Truoville,  Victorious Serman, Alexir or impavid as they all seem to be one pace animals which cannot suit the derby trip.

However there may be a dark horse which may upset all our calculations which may be known only to the godfathers of the turf.

So be cautious and place your bets carefully as placing a wrong bet will burn your fingers. Mind they you are having a family behind you.
