Once again the top three horses in the country will be facing each other this coming Thursday
I believe DESERT GOD won’t find it much difficult to win it from STAR SUPERIOR & ADJUDICATE as he is still in a cracking form at this age. Of course STAR SUPERIOR is on the up and will be there at the firing line but will find DESERT GOD showing no signs of slowing down in the final stages of the race (assuming DESERT GOD is the front runner)
ADJUDICATE could be a serious threat to DESERT GOD if she can reproduce the strong challenge she displayed in THE INVITATION CUP. But in this case, I feel she has lost that form and may find this trip a little bit on the sharper side. However, she cannot be completely ruled out as Jockey Y.S.Srinath is returning to ride her who accompanied her in that thrilling victory of the Invitation weekend.
All three champions are working extremely well in their morning workouts.
DESERT GOD is carrying level weights with STAR SUPERIOR and giving just 1.5kg to ADJUDICATE.
ADJUDICATE’s chances to win may depend on the pace and whether she hits the front or stays in the rear, in any case she might want to make the early move and enter the straight with a good commanding lead if she hopes to hold off DESERT GOD.
Conclusion: DESERT GOD may win the prestigious race from ADJUDICATE & STAR SUPERIOR

last win of Desert God is not it’s usual runaway fashion. A little bit of huffing and puffing. I felt age maybe catching up. Adjudicate in its previous run lost the race because the jockey was looking back in final stages of the race. Now I prefer Adjudicate over others

Today I will go with Adjudicate. As per me Todays winner lift the Invitation Cup at Mysore. I dont like 4 years old horses over these Three Horses (DG,Adjudicate and SS)

If DG makes a start to finish attempt, the race is for Adjudicate. She needs fast pace, how fast the pace is the more she gets powerful
Sandesh rode an overconfident race last time on her, so connections are not taking risk so they booked Classic champ Y S, she should romp home by minimum 1 length, S S had to flex all his muscles to get better of Adjudicate last time, in case of DG distance is too sharp so i think the race is in favour of Adjudicate whom she is getting ready to wear her second Invitation cup crown.Hope she wont get into traffic problems

Desort god is always my chumma shot.but.POINT TO PROVE is my first place bet over star superior . & adjudicate for place(f= 70.30 point prove & adjudicate)

Desert God. The horse is favourably placed as per the terms of the race. It carried 59kgs in invitation and now only 57kgs. It lost narrowly to Adjudicate in the Invitation. In the Invitation there were several horses running in front and DG couldn't run in it's customery front running. Now I feel it should hit the front and run away with the race. Adjudicate will finish 2nd. If you can get more than 60/100 for place for DG it will be a good bet.

ADJUDICATE- Only one who can beat DG .
Gut feeling that DG will not win.
No run benefit at Kolkata. And age factor against it.

Like Multitude the 8yr old Desert God also retire to the stud so my opinion is last race for Desert God and he surely win from star superior.

In another 45 days time we would be having Invitation Race. All top class Horses would vie fir this prestigious race. I thought SS DG and Adjudicate wud be preparing for this year Invitation but alas they all competing in Kolkata on 23 rd for Indian Champion cup. Last time these were met Adjudicate winner Desert God sevond and SS third. After that SS sjiwed his superiority to Adjudicate twice. Desert God went in its own way to win races. I feel trainers are slightly taking risk by participating this race rathern than give a skip to go for Invitation. But anyhow now having accepted i fam fa the opinion that Desert God wud win this race comfortably.
