Well rested TROUVAILLE , an unlucky loser (1/2 money favorite)  to Victorious Sermon, in Mumbai recently, may outsmart WAR HAMMER and JULIETTE (in that order), to become the Western India champion (having won the Pune Derby earlier).

If it WINS today.....a NAP bet for Invitation Cup.

However 2018 this changed with Rochester who won the Ruia and then went on to win the Indian Derby. In 2019, it was Star Superior who repeated the same. Will this year be 3 in a row with Victorious Sermon and the 1st Derby for A Sandesh. Only time will tell.

What happen to War Hammer owners? The Horse just few months back had health problem and skipped major summer classics. Once returned everybody satisfied with its run. But it had not beat any worth opposition barring one or two. So deciding to take him to Mumbai that to just four days left, coz travelling to Mumbai must have taken 2days. On what basis owners decide? Any how let us c on Sunday .

I had posted this earlier about JULIETTE Sire performance. After War Hammer winning and breaking the track record and keeping the unbeaten record intact will be favorite for Indian Derby. But it's worth taking chance on JULIETTE because of the blood line. 
JULIETTE - By Musketier - Was a G3 winner and won 6 races out of 24 starts. His first win was a 2yr old over 1800m and then 2000m as 4yr old, both came in France. His last 4 Wins came in USA over 2400m. She has the stamina from sire Musketier. Eventhough she is a small filly (400Kg+), she has a big heart. I am convinced she will be their in the finish line in Indian Derby.

Their can be many for consideration but I go for breeds, Therefore for me JULIETTE and SEA THE DREAM by SEA THE STARS.

Juliet. Without any reminder of the whale bone , just riding hands and heels , she accelerated beautifully to win the oaks untroubled within a second of Be Sade's record time.

The only rival is War Hammer who won the Bangalore Derby in a smart time, but he runs so soon and Mumbai track and straight are new to him.  May be Mumbai straight may suit him had he got some time to acclaimatise. 

An interesting duel is on the cards.

Be Safes record will be rumbled  , I am sure.

 My pick is JULIETTE for Indian derby 2020.. what about u guys?

Derby weekend Saturday the local champion trainer Pesi Shroff has only 3 entries out of 7 races.... Whether he is not interested on saturday a day before the derby day or he doesn't have suitable horses for that particular events. 

I think there should be some misprint or something because 20 runners are running and it seems to be INVIATION CUP rather than Derby. Even WAR HAMMER is also runing within a week again and competing the tough fields. Only God knows how can its possible. The connections seems to be very greedy. There are horses from bangalore kolkatta and hyderabad may be from chennai too. Only MYSORE left.

If this would be the final card then even place bets seems to be very critical. All and all the bookie day like hyderabad Derby day coming so punters beware. 

Only two bets for the day COSMIC RAY AND JULLIETE. 

If WAR HAMMER  run the Derby he will. Not finish on  Board for sure.... 

Juliet. It is the only horse with the maximum improvement in this line-up. Barring accidents, this Ramu sir"s filly should prevail over other contenders.
