Good Morning to all the contestants, The PTR Team and Shri Sagar Saab!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the outset I thank Shri Sagar Ji for inviting me to be the CG for the just concluded 2020 Four Winter Derbies PTR Contest and it was indeed a great feeling for me to hear his voice after a gap of so many months/years. It’s my privilege to announce the 2020 Results of the prestigious "Four Winter Derbies PTR Contest"

It is the Brain Child of our esteemed Sagar Ji and is considered the Most prestigious annual event concerning the Four Winter Derbies ( Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and the Grand Indian Mumbai Derby). "Infact he is the War Hammer pertaining to this Contest". He has been sponsoring so many prizes to the winners and Runner-up and to other contestants as well in the past decade or so.
This Contest was conceptualized keeping in line with Regular PTR contest which Late Sreekanth Created in IR.com and used to run on daily basis so as to create the competitive edge within one self before one goes to the Live races. The idea of Late Sreekanth was that one should identify the prospective winners for that days races well in advance through good study of the Card and through this contest one should posts his choices and invest prudently the points budgets allocated to each contestant and later on in the day in live races invest on those horses. Thus, this PTR came into existence.
PTR = Points for Today’s Races.
Shri Sagar Ji then thought of how this contest can help further and how to make it more meaningful and at the same time associating this contest with something which forms integral of the Indian Racing calender. Thus, he aligned this contest to the Four prestigious Derbies which happens in Winter Season in Indian Racing calender. Over a period of years this contest has gained so much popularity that it is considered as the Most Prestigious and Most Happening Racing Contest by all the Rail birds. They eagerly look forward to Shri Sagar Saab's post regarding the announcement of these contests during the winter season.

The decline in falling numbers are attributed to the GST implementation of 28 % , uncertainties prevailing in the sport and changing dynamics this sport is witnessing, growing menace of Online betting facilities in the wake of clubs charging for so many items now. All in All , it is sad scenario for this sport .

Many Congratulations to One and only Shri S K Sagar Ji for winning this contest like War Hammer did it in style over 7 ¾ lengths margin and he has been doing this type of performance over the past decade now. Sir, You are true inspiration to one and all in HT @ IR.com . with 5.343 Lacs NNP’s you are Ranked Number 1 in this contest.
Tiger has been a consistent performer in this contest over the past few years and his choices always are Impeccable and outstanding , with 4.330 Lacs NNP’s you are ranked number 2 in the contest and many congratulations to you tiger.
GS Bhatia Ji has been storming all the contests being run in HT in the recent times and has made a mark for himself with his fantastic choices and in this contest with 3.180 Lacs NNP’s you are ranked number 3 in the contest. Many Congratulations Sir.
I also congratulate all the contestants for carving their names in the scoreboard inspite of the adversities cited above and I wish each one of you all the very best in the year 2020 and thereon as well.
Special Mention of GS has to be made who did all the hardwork to compile scores leg by leg and in no time he did a fantastic job in the contest. You deserve a Grand applause from one and all concerning this contest.

Few years Back Major Shri Srinivas Nalgaonkar Ji expressed his desire that this contest should see entries above the century mark and keeping this in view, I request Shri Sagar Ji to infuse some changes in these contests so that it can attract the FRESH rail birds and also our Past contestants back into these contests.
I now conclude my presentation with the above declaration and wishing you all once again ATB for the Balance of year 2020 racing season and also further with a caution to be exercised in our daily pursuit of surviving in this sport.
