Back to listsCongrats Sequeira And Akshay
By S C Sharma | 24-Feb-2020Twentyeight day long Hyderabad winter season came to an end today and as expected local hero Akshay Kumar emerged as champion jockey without a serious challenge for the season with 29 wins, 27 seconds, 17 third and 23 fourth out of 124 rides he got during the season, though due to injury he could not ride during last few meetings. AK improved his riding talent and recognised at all India level and he is in top few jockeys bracket who believe in fitness and hard work and always improve their riding skills. I congratulate him and wish him early recovery to back in action soon.
The picture was not clear for trainer’s championship till last two meetings and though R H Sequeira manages to come out successful, L D Silva and D Netto were also in close run and actually they both have more number of runners than compare to Sequeira, who finished with top at the table with 23 wins, 18 second, 18 third and 14 fourth out of total 152 runners. R H Sequeira also known for his punctuality on track and at stable, spare more time with jockeys, riding boys and owners and take suitable corrective measures to improve his wards training as per the feedback. His planning is very perfect and correct and normally his fancied horses obliges. At Hyderabad he prefers the services of AK for riding his ward’s horses and number of times engage good ace riders from other centres also to extract best possible results. I congratulate him and wish him many more successes with a sincere advice to be honest, sincere to his profession and carry his duties with a more sense of responsibility and dedication to deliver best results regularly. In recent times many new and big owners attracted towards this young and multi talented retired jockey become trainer. Sincerity, dedication and hard work is the secret of any success, so be stick to all these parameters strictly and deliver your very best. Good luck and God bless you.
