By Ian Deane | 25-Feb-2020The mare was struggling for her head for 200+ metres and was constantly prevented from settling down by her jockey.
I would like to know what instructions her trainer gave to her jockey.
It is common knowledge that deliberately fighting with a horse especially in the early stages of sprint races is as good a way as any of preventing it to run on its merits.
In this particular case the mare was a spent force before halfway. I see no report by the Stipes.
Clean Racing? I think not.
