6=SPANISH BEAUTY (606)-KNOTTY OAK (605)-BIG BOON (600)-SIDE WINDER (600)-BLUE MOON (600)
Analysis=A very close rated race. On detailing, KNOTTY OAK and BIG BOON both have been promoted ONE FULL CLASS UP.Such horses fail in 90 percent of times. so first i will eliminate these two. From balance, SIDE WINDER the speediest of the Lot has to be respected and is bound to place.BLUE MOON may find 1200 mts a bit short although horse has merit. my Final choice would be SPANISH BEAUTY DAYS BEST EACH WAY BET .If its more than EVENS for PLACE just back it.Today its a HANDICAPPERS CERTANITY. This horse has been running in 45-65 cateogary since last 6 outings. It has been running off the pace and finishing well to be close to the top four at the finish. last run in same class (DIVII) in race (138) it was carrying 59 kgs a finished a good fourth.on that run itself it is down by 4 kgs today. Today it is the best horse on HANDICAP and just cannot , i repeat just cannot miss the board. ITS GUARANTEE to PLACE can WIN.

I loved the way you filter out horses. Out of 10  horses you filtered out 7 so easily. All the 3 horses you narrowed on came on board.

I would not have played copper queen for Place but for you.

What a run by HEADWAY!

Copper Queen is maiden in hadicap.

COPPER QUEEN is not a maiden it's winner on debut at good odds with Yash 

good response with logical thinking special thanks  to Ruchi   back to his orignal ways

Copper queen is a ruined horse by Pesii and will run in Cal monson.

 So it boils down to headway  and unsound Namaqua a small card bet on N""qua

Winning 1200M in class-3 HEADWAY failed to perfomed with bottom weight as well as top weight. After several attempts, trainer final concluding that the top handicap is the main reason behind failure, trying with same hadicap but 200M less.

COPPER QUEEN who is still a maiden handicap trying with bottom weight for the first time. Tracking good, will go all out with good rider.

Trainer Mr D Todywalla is doing lots of experiments with HIDDEN GOLD's instruments which put question mark on his performance.

FINAL CONCLUSION:-

All 3 trainers are trying hard to win the race. If instrument change doesnt bother HG then he is the right choice for the trophy. Copper Queen is t next best bet.

Sorry guys I am not discouraging anyone here, I did see the replay of race won by Hidden Gold beating Copper Queen. HG fell back after jostling at the start and CQ got a flyer and lead all the way, but the turn of foot shown by HD is tremendous coming wide and beating CQ. I feel the weight difference also can't do any good to CQ. As mentioned earlier I stick with my selection of Namaqua winning and HG for SHP. 
Finally decision is yours, All the best!

Eventhough Headway is far better than others, Copper Queen is well placed on weights than Headway. 

Copper Queen should not find it difficult to snatch the race from Headway.

Nice writeup.

Am strong on Headway too, based on what's already written by you, also, I have my favourite theory to go by, that some learned people out here are scoffing at.

So let's wait and watch what happens, will it be the theory that rules, or is it just a mere benefit of about 10kgs that makes some other horse win. I'm sure you get what I mean.

Also, will this benefit of 10kgs make this animal last the distance, or, just like the previous few runs, will lead upto 800-900m, and then fizzle out.

ONLY HEADWAY SIR

Looks like a healthy debate with No Slang on Planets etc, so if its a healthy debate then here are my thoughts. Purely My thoughts on this race.

This will be DASH FOR CASH type of a race with so manty front runners. we have seen 1000 mts dash but we can single out one or at best very speedy ones but here there are plenty.

For those wanting to know how the Dynamic ratings stand here they are

5=HEADWAY(658)-WILD FIRE(658)COPPER QUEEN(650)-HIDDEN GOLD(632)-RISING BRAVE (632)

Firstly about the most Hyped and fancied horses by two giants of HT.

a. COPPER QUEEN: In spite of Good Dynamic ratings,Its a 900 mts horse and due to the presence of IMPALA and WILD FIRE, who off late has started takeing a good jump. MY take is COPPER QUEEN will not be sighted.COPPER QUEEN likes to race freely out in front and today it has no chance to hit front. I repeat NO CHANCE to hit front as IMPALA and WILD FIRE and NANAQUA are much much speedier 

If CQ cannot go to front its OUT. It has no finishing speed and especially if you see its last run where HIDDEN GOLD and two aged GRAND FATHERS RISING BRAVE and MIGHTY WARRIOR almost thrashed it. 

COPPER QUEEN may struggle to come in first three today.

Next (b)  NAMAQUA:  Another 850 or 900 mts horse same logic as above,its quite speedy may pace with the the two NLAGADS horse but last 150 mts will drop dead.

Eye should be on late rushers and there are three who have proved to "FLY" off the opace,HIDDEN GOLD-HEADWAY-RISING BRAVE. This race will see the above three at the finish.

Now just a glance at HEADWAYS form.RACE (126) was given a easy run as Stable horses KILDARE/DANDI were fancied. Just see the Body language of the rider. HARD HELD in last 200 mts in spite of being in fighting line a sure sign of "NOT ON JOB"

Race (47) , over 1200 mts HEADWAY shot to front and at the distance post was 3 lengths clear . that means horse has speed as it overtook the very speedy EN SABAH NUR and SHIVALIK QUEEN and shot away only to weaken last part. today 200 mts less to GO.

RACE (16) well  what to say It was in 3rd or 4th position and ACCELERATED to even beat SILVER FLAMES. SILVER FLAMES reeled out two races after that and now in CLASS I.

RACE (57) at PUNE, short pune straight.Yet it could beat front runners including LESREL (   reeled off 3 races at KOL and second to MULTITUDE by a nk)after coming off the pace.

IF CURRENT FORM IS THE KEY HEADWAY WILL TROUNCE THIS FIELD.HIDDEN GOLD and RISING BRAVE will easily beat the rest.

Again wish to mention this is pure my view and ALL THE VERY BEST TO COPPER QUEEN and NAMAQUA

On two points (good speed & feather weight ), makes a very good bet at pretty decent odds.

Here is my analysis and decision is yours.

HEADWAY - Never travelled the distance of 1000m. I doubt the speed for this short trip. Trainer knows it well. Last win came in August 2019.

HIDDEN GOLD - Won its last two races over 1000m in lower class, last run beat Copper Queen by 1L with 2Kg difference. Now with 6Kg difference CQ is placed better than HG. Rising Brave and Turmeric Tower were behind, therefore out.

IMPALA - Has the speed. Almost the timings are same as HG.

NAMAQUA - By Mayson. Very Speedy. Was 2nd in Pune behind Dandi March clocking 57 and 1200m clocking 1:9 and recent one was 7th in Mumbai clocking 59:41 which is better than HG and CQ.

I am going to back well and huge. The odds seems to be good which shows 7/1. Those who play safe can go for a Place bet.

Race is purely between Namaqua and Headway.

In this race no 1 Headway leaned and carried outward at start last time by stablemate Dandi March and the race won by another stablemate Kildare which was strongly fancied and backed. So, Headway’s that run is to be best ignored. Today running with Blk on and may give different account of himself. No 8 Copper Queens chances are also not ruled out as she likes front running and this trip is best suited to her more so on this attractive weight. No 2 Hidden Gold won two races impressively but running on 4kg worst terms in compare to no 8 Copper Queen which makes his chances little more difficult. Finally my choice is no 1 Headway and next best no 8 Copper Queen.

Dont ignore HIDDEN GOLD with David Egan.
