He is the horse to beat although carring top handicap in the field. He has won 5 races in his last 6 starts. The progress of the horse from rating 37-97 is tremendous. He has 7 furlongs history. Last run in class 1(60 plus) winning with almost 11 kgs penalty put him top contender in the field. With top jockey on saddle horse should canter the race.

(4-5) Hokkaido has to beat (4-11) Star Saphire.

Although Hokkaido has seen better company in the field but having slight disadvantage towards handicap carrying 60.5 kgs for the first time.
