Rwitc Trainers Return Winless From Invitation Weekend

By Prash4900 | 01-Mar-2020

Did you observe RWITC trainers returned winless from Invitation weekend. Not a single race won by an RWITC Trainers. They couldn't even manage a win in Class V race.

Though Bang and mysore based trainers ruled the weekend, JE MCKEOWN became hero with super mile and Invitation Cup win.

A trainer in Mumbai has a fleet of Got Abroad horses. Most of these horses come at a very hi price. They are owned by some of the most big owners at the moment. Sad or funny (as we see it), one horse from his stable ran and that too ended up in also ran category. I don't know if these big owners are very charitable in nature and don't mind loosing few crores every year or do they get horses for free. Cause I m sure they don't buy horses such costly to win handicap races.

Western India performance invitation cup week end truly describes pathetic condition..Exodus of horse owners. No replacement by new owners.Dwindling number of horses in training.I believe western India raceing will go in to hibernation for some period.

The RWITC trainers have not planned or interested in participating in Invitation week races. They have brought horses to accompany the Invitation horses. At least they brought a few and went home empty handed. What about the so called champion trainer from Kolkata ? He runs more than one horse of the same owner in most races and wins the one with higher odds. Though he had no horse nominated in the graded races,he was free to enter in other races. His owners should be proud of this trainer.  This trainer is the son of a famous jockey known for his dedication/honesty and hung up his boots just 1 short of 100 classics. The late MAM persuasion failed to make him complete 100 classics though MAM assured that he will get the best horse.

Basically mumbai horses coming from sea level do not perform well in this part of the country due to higher altitude...indictment also finished third in the Bangalore derby...you might wonder then how did madras horses win..madras horses go to ooty in summer so they are used to higher altitudes...

Hi,

It's only a 'ype' that RWITC trainers are far superior than others. That has been belied rightly this time. But then, who are the sufferers? Is it not the punters who believed and backed the favourites at will? So, whoever wins and whoever loses, the ultimate pain is undergone by the race-goers???

Clueless is apt word. Hyped horses did not fill the frame even. If not interested why bring them.in first place. Took it causally . Shrof Sunderji Altaf Hussain & IA Sait. Completely out of depth. Preparation was inadequate on new turf.  Just brought horses and expected them to perform. Jockey Neeraj as usual was pathetic. Only PS Kaviraj did well.
