Wonder if hes also a Dandified who only won in Cal and got beat where ever else he ran. Its very possible.

I totally agree with you. That Vijay Singh had very bad record out of kolkatta infact I am expecting black pearl to Mumbai then I realized this for good example Dandified which is very good horse in Indian horse circuit it came out of  kol for 2 times and ran very bad race finishing 10th and 12th respectively 

Ofcourse Black Pearl is a classic potential. Since the horse was small in size the connections thought it may not be competent to clash with Mumbai/Bangalore horses and withdrawn earlier itself from Poonawala million also they never expected that BP will improve this much. May be the connections are planning for monsoon season.

Dear friend.  

Black Pearl was overraced at Calcutta for a 2/3 year old.  Mumbai races as you feel classics, need previous entry and  BP was not entered.

We should be lucky to find BP at Bangalore summer.
