Yes sir I agree instead of spending on betting you could spend for a worthwhile cause. In that case yiu must leave Races altogether. If you have fear yoiu will never make money in ANY FIELD not only in Racing. I have overcome this wrteched FEAR by following Frequently Winning Jockeys. Here you see even if I lose also NO PROBLEN I have cnfidence that I could recover my money soon or later. So no fear.

If you do not like or fear about Racing you should not go to Races at all.  lie allof us I too was losing regularly. Then I took a professional guidance from a Psycholoist  in Mumbai to help me to get rid of this addiction. He said if you leave it your mind willalways thinking about Racing who won the Races on any day and you csn not stop the habit of reading thenews about Racing. He adsvised me instead of leaving face it boldly and study or learn the trad. If you leave it the same habit will continue in any field and the whole career will be ruined. In every field if you are not successful you will try to leave it and it and this negative force will follow you like a shadow every where not only Racing but in any field. So I accepted his suggestion and overcome addiction and survived  till today.

This s just for information. I am not all advocating any one to go to Races. We got into it by FATE or FAULT  but having entered you have to think of successful survival rather than taking cowardd step.

I do not belong to 30 or 40 Lakhs category those people are mad with mainly on money withouit any Hobby interest or Sports interest. I know a stock Broker before the advent of Mobile when we had only Landline he installed a phone in his toilet also.How duty conscious he is !! What is life for hime. These people belong to some other category.

Now Ayyarnet is asking ---show me the money you saved due to cancellation of races. 

The point is one need not save money --he can spend it on his Children , family,  entertainment....... on anything and it should be considered worthwhile. 

What is the point  in contributing to the coffers of devious bookies! 

@Ayyarant, there are people with daily budget of 25/30 lkhs a day and some of them lose regularly. Every one is not only at the tote window and those people can save cocsiderable sums if they wish to and I hope and wish they do.

I just want bring to the kind attention of our friends it is indeed foolish to state - Thank God Races are cancelled. Punters will save lot of money !! How many punters have saved any worthwhile money becaue of the cancellation of Races !. On the contrary punters position is still worst because of COVID 19 regular income also stopped. Really our punters saved money  just because Races are cancelled ??

Decades back when racing was banned, few individuals bought 2/3 horses at bottom price and used at Boat house. Even before ban there was racing for local horses conducted after Main racing was over. Horses from Madras Regiment Center would come and participate. It was so enjoyable to watch bocaz no wrong doing. Tote also operated. I knew one individual whos family was having a petty shop near Simpsons, had one White coloured horse which participated, ridden by himself and won few races. 

Coming to the point now as omebody put it we will be racing at Mysure at the earliest.

Admire your curiosity to predict the the Derby Winner ! First let us watch the Colts trial and Fillies trial and the we will think bout Oaks and Derby.

It is beleived that covid19 saved lot of money from Punters. I am just wondering how many punters saved any worthwhile amount in the absence of Races !

Money is an unstable product and it will not remain static even if you are forced to save also. Some unexpcted expenses will come from any direction.  making money may not be difficult but holding the money and growing it with adequate is very very difficult.  Just because Races are cancelled lot of money is saved from punters pocket may not be true in reality.

Races will definitely commence in june mid week. Let's not argue on this Bangalore turf club and Mysore race club will kick off the show in june .

Please spread Hope not Fear . Being an old Ht ian we must al hope that the glory of racing should b back asap. I suppose even ur daily wages must b gone bagging fr d last 45days so y such spreading such statements that racing wil nt start in 2020.

Mark my words if govt cn open liquor shops for revenue generation if nt  june racing wil b on frm july in india. We wil have to live with corona and take necessary precautions. 

The prayers of al punters wil make it happen .

Ooty Horse Owners simply opened the stable doors and let out the horses to their fate,  the moment Tamilnadu Government cancelled horse races about 4 decades back. All discarded horses find shelter in Ooty and perhaps the Owners had no takers for their horses. 

I am afraid more and more trainers are simply going to walk away from racing. In the past too Owners washed off their hands by simply refusing to pay the Basic Training Fees but the numbers were always manageable. I am afraid this time the possibility is real and the clueless Clubs will be caught unaware  !

Thats all OK..But pls tell me who will win the BNG Summer Kingfisher Derby 2020..

Well said kartik panja..it's going be the truth of this small industries which is actually hijacked by crooked club officials..

But I think punters money saved

It's all usual formalities.

It's gonna be darkest time in India' racing history.. coronavirus has almost hit the last nails in the coffin of horse racing in India..And the city of Kolkata going to lose its most glorious sporting activities.The share of blame should be on club stewards and its poor management since they could have done  a lot of positive  things in good time..

They now have to go to door to door for selling exiting stock of horses in stable as days are not far away when exiting owners gonna run away from huge pending maintenance bill..This club has no contingency paln in place to save racing and its employees..The only way to save the racing is to get the state approval to start racing along with booky operation which seems impossible in this year 2020..so no revenue for club and i sure no members also going to pay yearly subscription..so now clubs highly paid stewards and officers will find it hard to arrange their own huge salaries...

In a one shell it's the End .. thanks friends..have had loaded memories in its premises..but now I hope  poor Punters going to save their money for  uncertain Future as there will be no racing like before....God bless..
