Every race is running differently, trainers think differently, jockies getting openings at some points which they dont want to do.The pace may be vary, sometime pace setter may hang and cause interference, some horses may suddenly gain form all these are happening's.

About AB.David and MAM, they mutually partwayed as there is an agreement issue aroused.

And the recent Be safe saga is much hyped one.Horse is not machine(even machine may fail)The real culprits are those who created a cult in public mind that , that poor horse is un defeated type.If so what happened to him after that race, how many races it won?

I played Quasar and tipped in IR .The same in Sperstorm derby also.

Quasar is more experienced and defeated more classy horses than be safe.He maintained his form even after the invitation.So as per my thought pulling is not done but Quasar performed better.The weight of Quasar is decresed by 2 kg(more fitter) and Besafe is up by 1 kg.

I never think that Narredu asked to pull the horse, because he is so loyal to MAM.

And if upsets are not there , what is the fun in racing.

Think positively...trainers and owners are human beings...and they are handling not graduated horses just kids3/4 years with playfulness.

And more over the problems with Trainer and Owner is happening not at track, but at party time. Why Michael Eashwer not coming to bangalore ?

Why a very senior trainer from mumbai coming and going from bangalore in the same day?

If you can't digest the structure and accept the impact's very difficult to survive as mind is alway's agitating.

Dear friend, the reason for win or loss of a horse is well written in race card, study it properly, study max two races.Stop blame game

Glad to know that,  at least there is one person  , who has great faith for the Trainers. 

Even a knowledgeable person like great MAM was taken for a ride many times. 

I remember what happened to Oxford Blue and Ministrella in the Indian Derby three decades back. MAM broke all relation with A B David thereafter. 

Next it was the turn of Trainers Phillip Corner in Kolkata Derby in the nineties. 

I need not repeat how Be Safe was got at. The saga is still fresh in everyone's mind. 

MAM had to make S. Ganapathy a trainer,  in order to establish some sort of control over the happenings.

Trainer is the most important position in racing Industry, whether we agree or dis agree the show is running by them.

Cursing jockey and Trainer always is the signal of loosing self confidence.99% Of punters like us not even touched the fore head of a horse, but involved in betting and with out it life is so miserable. Generally speaking A horse owned by some body, trained by some body and ridden by some body , groomed by some body and vaccinated by some body , but we are all backing it because the system is tight and religiously followed till the date.

To prepare a horse , to make him a winning candidate is a tough job handled by trainer.For that he needed experiments on that horse and outings and time.Those who closely watches development of horses and track work can assess a bit form attained by the horse.

I will give an example of a horse not too far back.C.D.Catrack trained a horse called Cliffdon at rwitc.It is an average horse of pedigree but gifted with tremondous early speed.He patiently observed its character and changed attachments in every third race.Finally one fine day hit with sky high odds against stablemate favourite.

Many cried foul, but I appreciated his sincere effort(and also played)to bring a positive change in its running style of high speed to low speed, to normal medium and high .It takes 2 years for him to make that changes in its character.Dont be rewarded such efforts?. It is the punters duy to find the right horse by analysing card, not trainer's.The problem with general public is that they study card in short time and invest heavily if lost started blame game.

And if we analysed trainers data, the jockey turned trainers(almost 80%of the whole lot) are not winning as favourites comparing normal trainer. So whom to be blamed.

The greatest example is HJ Antia, he is a jockey completed 1000 winners, how many of the hard core punters can say that they earned profit from antia trained horses in at least 3 seasons.So equp ourselves with superior knowledge to find right bet, if not confident dont do.

And one more example for trainers patience is Strenth to Strenth trained by Rehmanullah Khan, after winning one race as two year old it developed a crack in rear leg  and it returned to race after two long years.

He given gate practices and 5/6 mock races to that horse(whom I always considered as a champion) and won on 1200rs on tote.

Who pays for the struggles and time and efforts?So these upsets make racing so interesting and complicated and a skill game.After all "RACING IS LIKE SEX, IF IT IS GOOD...FEELS TOO GOOD...IF IT IS BAD ...STILL PRETTY GOOD IN FEELING"

In racing industry,  if someone doesn't deserve your sympathy --it is the trainer. Owners may come and go : Jockies may come and go : Even bookies may come and go. But a Trainers is always there and has some control over happenings on the track. (Punters come and never go. They only become poorer). 

   Trainers line up assistant trainers , who never cut their umbilical cord with the parent. These new trainers serve a "dual " purpose. When the lead trainer's hot favourite is losing,  it is the new trainer's horse that is on the job,  and at lucrative odds too. 

Secondly,  if the lead trainer gets into suspension ( mostly for medication,  rarely for performance of the horse)  , it is his former deputy,  who safekeeps his horses and allows backseat driving.

  Of course with passage of time this " relative" outsider has lost his utility as father --son , husband -- wife combinations rule the roost in the world of training. 

So much so that even world class jockies like Vasant Shinde and Aslam Kader failed to break into this " exclusive " and " elusive " world of trainers. 

Mohan Valavi was assistant to trainer R R Byramji. Not many know that Adler ran all his races in India,  only 75 % fit. When the time came for him to go to USA,  the trainer chose Mohan Valavi to accompany the horse. Adler did win a race in USA.

On a serious note, Amit Caddy was forced to give up racing due to madical reason whereas Mohan Valvi opted to migrate to Australia.
