Back to listsTwo Missing Trainer's
By Anilxk | 05-May-2020Dear All,
In early 90's a no of new recruit's entered in BTC as Trainer's more or less in the same year.
Those name's are Mohan Valvi, Michael Eashwar, Loknath Gowda,Irfan Ghatala, Gregory Sandhu, J.S.Pillai , Arjun Mangalorkar etc.Out of the bunch Mohan Valvi was the best who quickly adapted to turf and made result. He brought many upsets using ordinary horses using his ability and cunningness.A broken horse called sun worship changed stables from URRB to him , brought by Adithya Thackarey won in class 1, after resuming races (the first race after resuming from lay off with 55 rs on tote.)He was very good in upsetting the whole set by beautifully planning race.
His horses will attempt start to finish if they are on job above 1400m and will strike from rear for sprint races.Being a longer odds lover I used to follow his mounts regularly by those day's.One horse Razeen out of Cannoying (name not remembering) given a beatiful sum of 193 on tote which was identified by the confident face of trainer.
But another horse called cavalla made me in big trouble by not hitting place continuously. He left racing suddenly and for last decade I not heared about him from any one.For me he is classy trainer spoiled himself by always fancying longer odd's.
Another trainer who suddely became darling of crowd's was Amit Caddy.A handsome young man who trained his wards in a very different way and prefer to pull upset's with S Shoe. He was supported by an owner called Mrs Sangeetha. He also suddenly left racing .Why these talent's are out of training field now?
