Breeding Industry comes with huge running expenses not to speak of the enormous fixed cost. Only a handful of breeders were making money all these years. They will somehow survive this crisis but the marginal breeders have no other option than closing down. 

Similarly I expect many of the owners too will retire from the scean. It fate of small time trainers will be no different. 

Even in the best case scenario  , it will be downsizing all the way .

Rigs, Colts and Geldins might miss out Stake money likely to have won thro Races. Fillies and Mares will always have their Breeding value Even if they happen to be Unraced
