Top Military offered 284/1 for win and 33.9 for place which is the longest priced winner in last 49 years at happy valley since HK racing  turned professional in 1971. The winner clocked 1.09.96 for the 1200 mts trip and after the race the jockey T H So ( Ben So ) admitted  " Unbelievable " if you see the record of the horse you could not expect he had run that well. Trainer T P Young  stated  " not anticipated to run as well as did. " He further stated that application of Blk could be the reason for surprise  success . He was simply expecting a better performance. Sky Show's defeat at well backed odds 1.6 surprised and shocked many horse lovers and experts.

Past few meetings at Sha Tin and Happy Valley really disappointed many with top champion jockeys dismissal performance. J Moreira after facing one meeting ban returned but not opened the account thus giving Z Purton five wins lead. The three time champion jockey's last 22 rides fatched no win. This sunday the Brazilian jockey having 9 rides in 10 race card and Z Purton having 8 rides in 10 race card  but JM is hoping better performance as he rates this weeks rides are better compare with previous two meetings. Z Purton's tally remains at 128 wins and J Moreira is on 123 wins followed by way behind K Teetan  76 wins.
