Horses are in stables eating, getting their rent paid -vet bills are always on the table plus trainers will charge to maintain them - ALL the MONEY goes from the owners pocket, along with the purchase price paid upfront -

Its easy for others to talk about foddar ,job loss -industry collapse etc but please explain -why would people current owners invest in horses in such a situation - frankly most owners must be looking to get out but right now there is no escape - no one will buy horses.

It was very funny to watch them talk as if those managing horse racing are saints and government is a villian. If they are so honest then let them first do away with half-tax illegal betting and then ask the governemt to reduce the gst. Government knows that the racing bosses will never change and hence has put a sin-tax on race gambling.

You can watch the show by clicking the link above

The information which made me suprise was that Hong Kong,Macau and Singapore doesn't breed horses..And they buy from Australia...and second thing which is tremendous to hear was they were planning for an International Carnival in India..

Hope Races resume soon in India

Thanks

Saw  the same  inthe morning  V.ery heartening ro see horse racing getting some attention.

Too long to repeat here the main impressive points are

28@  GST  needs to be reviewed

Hong kong Macau  singapore do not breed horses  yet racing is at the top .India can be the centre of breeding with govt encourage ment.

The few doomsdayers of racing watch   this show.   the industry consumes rs 200 crores of fodder  Horses are not machines like a factory and like human beings eating all the  time.
