Horse Racing Loses One Of Its Gems

By Cruise_b'lore | 10-Jun-2020

Hello folks,

The passing away of BYRAM N JEEJEEBHOY is a big blow for Indian racing. He was among the last few of the now almost eclipsed lot of sporting owners.

He will certainly be missed. May the kind soul of the gentleman to the core Byram Jeejeebhoy rest in eternal peace! with profound sadness,

Cruise

Byramjee was  a gem  of  a man

R.I.P. Byramjee.

Racing  crowd is  a peculiar breed...

while there  are 15 RIP's  for  a horse; only 5 RIP's for  a horse- owner/breeder/ racer/etc.   ...

Friends

Almost like adding fuel to the existing fire Racing Industry lost an eminent person Mr.Byram Jejeebhoy. Although I have lived nearly 25 years in Mumbai I had no privilege of knowing him but only Horses. Trainers have already posted their sweet memories with him. ( Both Pesi Shroff and Mallesh Narredu)

I have enjoyed the company of many Parsi community friends. Their language is also Gujarathi but accent will be some what sweet in pronounciation. They used to pray with the following words

Humatha Huktha and Hoovarashtha

meaning Good Words Good Thoughts  and Good Deeds

Indeed Late Mr Byram sttod up to his community prayers.

My heart felt condolences to his bereived family and friends.

RIP Mr.Byram Jeejeebhoy
